Yeah also i was doing some research and found something out I didn't know before. EXtreme Skyflyer (the sky coaster) used to be called Drop Zone before Action Zone came around. Anyone know if that was based off of the movie?

First off that old video for FOF is pretty neat but if thats the full video seems like they added a lot when they removed the outer limits stuff. Also Top Gun already had a name that was NOT licensed by Paramount, then when Paramount bought the park they changed the name before it was finished, so I think it will be called that I believe it was Thunder Road?

Has anyone else noticed that the main website for the park now calls it "California's Great America"?

I forget what was the original name of Top Gun going to be? Maybe it will finally get a new paint job with its new name?

I hope they re-theme at least italian job to make it a little different from the cookie cutter versions at other former paramount parks. I want Kings Island to be unique.

Heck VooDoo at dorney park will still be known as superman to me and it's gone through 2 name changes!

I thought I remembered hearing that the one kiddie coaster at Geauga Lake was going to be at Cedar Point next year along with some of the kiddie rides. Has anyone else heard this?

The GL ferris wheel would be good, I hope we get that and time warp.

Ok this may have already been answered but I have a question. I currently have a 2007 Max Pass and need to process my 2008 Platinum Pass. If I go to KI on the 30th can I get my free ticket with my 2008 Platinum Pass? And since I already have a 2007 Maxx Pass can I give my free ticket to someone else?

outdoor topspins are only fun to watch if they have water guysers. I still say they re-theme it to like a "mystery mine" and then they can actually theme the outside of the building.

No there was (supposedly) never a master plan to remove the park, the 2 coasters were said to have been removed last year due to high maintanance costs.

Yeah, if we were to just get a flat like Time Warp from GL it wouldnt seem like much, but if they spin it as a whole new area with a brand new ride, it sounds a lot better.

When I first rode it, I saw it as a "BIG Texas Twiser" and knew right away what it was thanks to my previous experience on it's Geauga Lake cousin.

Id like to see X-Base become an official area next summer, maybe with a new flat ride or 2, one of them possibly "Time Warp"?

Cause when we got X-Flight I was the first to predict wed get dominator the following summer, and everyone fought me saying GL would never tear down that many coasters that quickly. Guess they were wrong lol.
