  1. Makes sense to me. Thanks.
  2. ^^^^ True, I haven't needed a map for many a year, but there was a time, way back when, that I did need one.
  3. That might make sense, and why would I get an attitude? If you're wrong, it's not a big deal, nobody's perfect.
  4. If you look at Behemoth's page here you'll see that the investment for Behemoth was approximately 26 million. However, according to Diamondback's site, the investment for Diamonback is 22 million. My question is, why the discrepancy? What makes Behemoth 4 million dollars more expensive to build? I'm sure the fact that part of it is built over water has something to do with it, but that can't be the sole reason.
  5. Point taken. Time will tell what will happen or not happen.
  6. No need to be embarrased about that. Everyone does that! The only problem is you will have two people call you a rooky if they see you...or would I...would I ever do something like that...nah. I never call people rookies for looking at park maps either. (Well...at least I don't say it to their faces.) I would wager that you yourself had to look at a map the very first time you were at a given park. How else is one supposed to learn the lay of the land?
  7. How weird is it to see nothing over there next to Wings? The stage that DB was announced at is even gone. I guess I'm used to seeing a little "clutter" if you will on the webcam.
  8. True, but so far we've seen the "artist's conception" for the rest of the ride, and that has been fairly accurate, no?
  9. I just watched the front seat animation for DB, and I could tell that the area around the final helix looked to be open to the public. That's not to say that the decision to change that hasn't been made already, but according to the video, it's open. Pause the video right as you crest the hill, and you'll see what I'm talking about. There are even people in there in the rendering.
  10. You should have seen the snake over at coney maul the first haunt weekend!! Personally, I am upset with the trees being destroyed, but I understand things must change. I just hope they are replaced elsewhere in the park. Have a look here. If you look closely, you'll be able to tell that some trees will be making a return visit to The Beast's plaza area. After visiting the park on the 1st, I could see KI getting rid of the "Beast Canyon" entrance, and placing a new entrance very near to the ORP stand. It seems very logical to me to redo it that way. could you please post a new link. and i like The Beast canyon building Here you go. Hope this one works.***EDIT That didn't work either. Just watch the off ride animation atDiamondback's site and when it hits the final helix, you'll be able to tell.
  11. Just to add my two. I too was a lurker for a while, and I'm so glad you've decided to post. Everyone on here is helpful, and knowledgeable in their own way. Welcome and happy posting.
  12. The map will look quite the same as it does now. They will "cartoonize" Diamondback and it'll look just like you think it will.
  13. They are if you have big enough pockets. I would carry things with me, but I often times find myself to not be that hungry while I'm at a park.
  14. Well, Vortex's entrance is hard enough to find anyway... Not if you've ridden it once. I never forget where to find Vortex.
  15. I'm not sure. It doesn't look to me like anything has been added, but I'm not a webcam hawk like some who post here.
  16. It probably wouldn't kill anyone to have The Beast open as well during the morning ERT, but that will be decided by those who decide things, I guess.
  17. Great TR. I'm glad you had fun with your family. That's really what it's all about. Awesome.
  18. I for one, will be alternating depending on my moods, alignment of the planets, tide level, etc... I love a night ride on The Beast, but something tells me a nighter on Diamondback will be exceptional too.

That's another one that I can't really hold on to anything. I just rest my wrists on the restraint, and hold my hands together.
  20. My plan (if i go to Season Pass Preview Night) is to go to Diamondback first. Depending on lines, ill try to get multiple rides in. Then go to SOB and DT. While in Action Zone do; Flight Deck, Delirium, maybe Congo, and i guess Invertigo. Then go towards Octoberfest and ride AE & Viking Fury. Get a few Racer rides in, do FOF & Firehawk. Ride Vortex atleast twice. Maybe Backlot, then dew Crypt, Beast, and do Diamondback the rest of the night! If all that is open, that's cool. I'd settle for Diamondback alone being open for that night.
  21. Sweet. Just what I needed, another reason to get to KI early. What better way than to start a day with a ride on Diamondback?
  22. Terpy, I will learn to measure my words, knowing that you are always lurking.
  23. Or soda, even. Sorry, I just HAD to.
  24. If my experiences with the restrooms this season are any indication, guests care that a toilet is clean before they use it, once the deed is done, they could care less about their fellow park-goer, most times leaving said toilet in such a state of mess, that one will have to find a different restroom. Terpy, I asked Don about this and the paraphrased explanation is "CF wants each park to have their 'own online identity.'" I agree that continuity would be better and the sites should no longer be based on the former sites design. Terpy Uses Websites? Well, he uses this one.

It depends on whether or not I'm able to hold on to anything. For example, on FoF, I simply cannot reach the steel bar, nor can I hold on to the lapbar, so I just kind of sit there with my arms crossed a little.
