PKI Opening Day (With Pics)
If you're gonna use sarcasm, make it at least grammatically correct and understandable.

I backed you up in the other thread, but that response was uncalled for. You shouldn't take your angers of the day out on people here.

Nice shots, what kind of cam do you have? I know you didn't ask for advice, but try to work with the sun a little more for better lighting. I'm assuming Kodak...

4/9/04
It DID NOT valley! How many times have me, Drew, Sparky, and god knows who else said that's physically impossible! Though SOB was closed all day, and from what I have heard it may not be open tomorrow - at least the first half of the day. Hmm, I said I heard and I wasn't there, I did not say it was fact. I dont appreciate the rude comments and false aqusations. I am glad to hear that it did not valley. I don't see any rude comments or false accusations.

You surely didn't meet me, I was at my house all day. Perhaps I should be flattered I have an impersonator?

Season Pass Processing
Is it just me, or this rediculous? Season Pass Processing 04/09, 05/10-05/14, 05/17-05/21 Does that mean it can only be done on those dates, so if I went I'd just have to go to Guest Relations each time and set it up so I can get back in the park with my e-pass? Sounds pretty stupid to me that on opening weekend the only day you can get it processed is today and then not again for a month?

PKI.com's new layout
Haven't the park maps always been like that? I never remember being able to download an up to date park map.

SoB & FoF constraints
I'm 6'5" and fit on FOF just fine, I find it quite comfortable, however SOB is exactly the opposite. I won't ride it because it hurts so bad.

April 4th 2004 TR
Sounds like a nice day. Just about the opposite of yesterday, as it was warm and crowded. I'm counting on next Sunday being the same except warm as it's Easter.

IS Lighting
Well tonight the fountain lights changed to many different colors. The site will have an example of a purple/blue and orange version of the fountain. Very nice. Not sure if it was that way last year or not.

April 3, 2004 Trip Report
Today the park was light in the morning, got on 4 rides in the first hour and those were FOF, Vortex, Beast, and TR:TR and most of that was because TRTR was only using the front and last row of the gondola for some reason. Then the park got extremely crowded so I stopped riding pretty much everything.

Yes the seatbelts are very easy to get on. When the photos are added to the site you should see how they are set up.

April 3, 2004 Trip Report
I wouldn't expect anything that new. Other than some repainted rides in Coney Mall.

Line jumpers were horrible today, I forgot to mention on Vortex when it happened they even had a guy go down below the station trying to get out of the line.

April 3, 2004 Trip Report
Got to the park around 11:30, got in and waited next to Mandarin Cuisine for the ropes to drop. Yes I heard your speech Dragonlord... My friend and I headed to Flight of Fear first to be on the first train of the day, along with second seat from the front. What a bang to start off the coaster season with. This ride provided everything I wanted in the off season. Next we headed to Vortex through what seemed like a deserted park, and Vortex proved itself once again. Great speed. Did the seats have padding last year? Steve, towards the end of the day you didn't seem too comfortable on it! Rode three times. Third was Beast! However there was one slight problem. Other than new signs right outside the ride and inside the station warning you, this ride wasn't "Hollywoodized" and I was a little dissapointed. Of course opening day isn't until next week. The seatbelts don't effect you at all except when idiots don't buckle them. Very comfortable. Tomb Raider was next with a small wait. I still love this ride even if it is the same even though I got drenched in seat #77. However they left the middle row open. Why? Top Gun was the same old Top Gun. That's all I got to ride since lines were long and I snapped 155 pictures. I'm not too appreciative of the sunburn on my face however. What was up with the 4PM hour today. Seems every ride in the park went down for a while then. I know of Beast, Drop Zone, Vortex, and both sides of Racer. Was this some kind of training that was planned? Also need to say thanks to Joe for the tickets. Here's the last picture I took tonight, just a preview and it's a time exposure of Delirium.

Saturday April 3 Hours
This Sunday is Gold Pass Preview Day and that is only open to the season pass holders. Also almost everday throughout the Summer they get exclusive ride time in an area of the park (Coney Mall, Rivertown, Action Zone, ect...) for an hour before the park opens. It's a great opportunity.

New PKI site!
Now I really like the site now that most of the pictures have been fixed. However you guys can't complain that the site is not good enough. I'd love to see you guys build one like that.
