  2. It's a hell of an amazing ride and considered the best flat ride in the world by many. Where else are you going to find a better collection of flats at a park in the world?
  3. The same thing happened to me on Tomb Raider last year. At least the on-ride part. However we were offered to wait until they fixed it at the exit and ride again with no wait. I passed. The ride was done anyway when it broke down.
  4. They come to you.
  5. Last year it was Counting Crows with "Big Yellow Taxi" and when I was there this year it seems to be Jet with "Are You Gonna Be My Girl"
  6. Yea PKI did such a great job advertising the ride. Even if it is old they could have advertised it in some way instead of having it back in a corner. Did they try? I haven't been to the park since and was wondering. How can they close something they've never tried to promote to get the ridership?
  7. I did one two years ago. It wasn't really the ones you guys are talking about, but I was approached by a woman with a palm pilot and as I answered she enetered my answers.
  8. Do the math. Yes, it's plenty.
  9. With Deliriums design however, don't you think it'd be really really really hard for even the smallest person to fall out. The seats are "cupped" blocking exit from the side, plus there's another body there and the harness would be down far enough to prevent that anyways and it provides enough pressue on the body, and the seatbelt is there for if they slip through the bottom, which once again with the force of the restraint pushing down would be quite hard on its own.
  10. The only problem is, it's not a Giant Top Spin, but a regular Top Spin. It's a great simulator, but it gets boring after about one time through. For the past two weeks I've been doing it maybe once every two days.
  11. Yea, my bad, I missed the expensive part in his post.
  12. Peoples reading comprehension on these boards needs to increase so much it's not even funny. He meant letting Dasani sponsor those ugly looking covers on the Cabanas is a cheap way of making a buck, because it is, they're ugly and have no feel to the "theme of the waterpark anyway.
  13. If those posts were directed to you, sure you could take offense to them. Perhaps you should read all the posts rather than reading one and jumping to conclusions?
  14. The Beach has also started this service. I wonder how they compare. I do agree that it looks cheap with the Dasani covers.
  15. Well it's stupid that they would design rides for people that are smaller, for instance Son of Beast. I fit in the harness on Delirium just fine, but they won't let me ride? I'm sure PKI has something to do with deciding height limits. I mean what's the Height Limit for Face/Off, is there even one? I'd probably like Son of Beast if I didn't have to sit in it with my legs crossed and be uncomfortable as hell. Sure wearing different shoes would/could help but I don't want to be uncomfortable all day wearing shoes I don't want to wear just so I can ride a ride. It seemed like no one cared last year and not even the top executives cared on Media Day last year and I wasn't even the tallest one there. And no offense, but there's no way in hell anyone's gonna fly out of that ride in the first place with the pressure of the restraints and the extra seat belt there.
  16. How come this year it seems as though that they are checking for the maximum height more than last year. I am over 6'4" and every attempt I made last year was a success, even when they were holding the stick when they put you into the two groups right before you enter the ride. It seems though that this year there are many many reports of people being turned away where I read none last year. As much as I hate this I don't think there needs to be a height that short. Sure I may sound biased, but it seems that all rides these days are for all of the little short people. I mean I'd say the height limit is there because of the sign and not the floor because when they lower the floor I don't come close to touching the concrete at the edge once we start swinging. Did they really need to add those light poles to the sign for that foot chopper effect? I just bring this up as it's my favorite ride and they're more than likely not going to let me ride it this year. I mean I did last year and even on Media Day when you think they'd be the safest, and I don't even believe I was the tallest one who rode.
  17. Two stupid posts on the same day. Yes they are real cops, if they weren't they would not be able to carry guns. They are part of a local police force, which I do not know. I just know that my brother was told by his MP Seargent to try and get on with Mason Police so he could work in PKI since most of his training is controlling large groups of people at events like the Kentucky Derby and such. So I'm sure Mason has at least a couple in the park.
  18. So how much did Sony pay you to place that ad? Not bad pictures, what kind of camera are you using. I'd put Thunderhead up against The Beast anyday!
  19. Well I've never been, but since I've never been I'd say skip them all.
  20. Why don't you just call PKI and tell them about it. I'm sure they would be more than happy to help you out if you made arrangements for payment.
  21. It's not only directed towards you, just most of it.
  22. Someone asked why seatbelts were installed. We answered with background to the subject. No ones looking down on enthusiasts, and sure everyone acts their own, but to say every report is false and even the official report issued by the state is false something is wrong. Sure you've heard stories from people at the event who really don't know more than anyone not directly involved with the investigation. You also say this isn't Holiday World Unlimited yet when a topic about the Scream death started and I said something about this being a PKI site I was the one under fire for it, yet you're being a hypocrite to something you backed up in the beginning. This also is not the Jeff Siebert Unlimited Page.
  23. Just because a company goes bankrupt doesn't mean it is gone. It just gives protection until they can come up with an approved plan to start making a profit again. If bankruptcy meant the company was gone you wouldn't have United Airlines or US Airways anymore and those are two of the biggest airlines in the United States.
  24. Ok then, the people that said she was virtually standing up. If that was the case wouldn't the other people in the train also be "virtually" standing up? Sure there's airtime, but that would mean the other people would be affected just as well. If I were PTC I'd be protecting my "bottom" too. You guys are trying to prove a logical case trying to protect your fellow enthusiast yet your story has holes maybe you don't realize. I mean how do you not believe the official prosecutors report?
  25. Hmmm maybe this source will prove it. Maybe not since you will believe what you want to believe and God forbid anyone break the rules. The Official Final Prosecutors Report Now if you don't believe that, I don't know what to say. It says witnesses from off the ride saw her standing up.
