  1. Ok if he is a guest why would you share that? I wouldn't call a slice of pizza must have (eating a couple now) but if you like pizza it is very good, but probably not a must have. Quite pricy also.

Well with Vortex it just depends on your body dimensions. For me it is very smooth and I'm 6'5". For all my shorter friends (all of them) Vortex is rough. An actual ride where it pays to be taller.
  3. The food is great. It can be pricy, but that's why I stay away from Festhaus. The food at Mandarin Cuisine is great. For comparison you might be thinking of mall chinese food. The food is much much better and more fresh than a mall chinese restaurant could ever think of being. As for Bubba Gumps I've never ate there, but the aroma, and the looks make it look like a great place to eat. Not to mention that all of the reviews have been great. As for if you wanna try Montgomery Inn be prepared to pay. It's good and great, but to me they're not the best ribs in the city as everyone says. They're good and they have history, but not nearly the best. Skyline is also a choice if you want local food. I, myself, prefer Gold Star over Skyline, because the chili is alot thicker and not as runny as Skyline. Both are great nonetheless. Remember to go get yourself a Blueberry Ice Cream!
  4. Their best bet would probably be to just let the people who had tickets for tonights event into one of the two for free if they present their ticket or whatever they are given.
  5. Well if you want to go all out for a meal I would suggest Wings Diner in Rivertown which serves up Montgomery Inn barbecue which is a staple of Cincinnati food. For lunch I would suggest either Bubba Gumps Shrimp Shack or Mandarin Cuisine. Bubba Gumps is by Slingshot and Adventure Express and Mandarin Cuisine is right by the entrance you can't miss it. I find that Mandarin Cuisine is the best choice for the buck. As for snacks. Depending on what you want you could go to several places. For more of a meal you could hit up one of the Skyline Chili locations. Of course if you want some good fries head back to Tomb Raider and Beast and you will find Rivertown Potato Works. Now if you want ice cream which you should want to try this anyway as it is the best food in the park. Go to NickCentral/Hanna Barbera and find Huckleberry Dairy. Get a blueberry ice cream cone and it's just pure delight! Hope this helps in some way. If you have any more questions feel free to ask.
  6. We'll just have to wait and see. With all the posts out there about what's coming next year couldn't you have found the answer there? When making a new post at least use correct grammar.
  7. I don't even think we'll get another coaster over 200 feet. I'd guess around 150-160. Thanks Six Flags Masta...

And then when the morons forget the code?
  9. I love it when people sign up and tell us we're all wrong on everything.
  10. I think they do take alot of pride in the Eiffel Tower. As far as building over it, I don't see that as something they would do anyway.
  11. How many topics do we need on this subject? I have the feeling this will also be closed.
  12. It's only 20 minutes, you shouldn't receive anything.
  13. As far as I know and I could guess with almost 100% certainty that they are clones. Our FOF however is considered better because they didn't (past tense because they say it's on this year) have the MCBR on.
  14. It's called capacity. They want to get as many people on and off as they can. They did spend money for ride that can be short, long or whatever they want it to be. It's the magic of programming.
  15. The way the Airline shows work is they show what happens at the job. Lets say there's a drunk trying to get on board and they won't let him, a new pushback tug operator is being taught how to push a brand new 20 million dollar jet out of a gate with little clearance and no room for error. There's even sad stories when they have to kick a homeless man off a flight because he smells so bad other passengers are complaining so they buy him lunch, get him new clothes and put him on the next flight. Also an alzheimers patient soiled himself and his wife is crying because she's had so much and is embarassed but they fixed him up real nice. To tell you the truth I don't believe PKI could have situations like this that would interest the viewer.
  16. They have a similar show about what happens behind the scenes at an airline. There are actually two, Airline featuring Southwest Airlines and Airline UK featuring Easyjet. Those are very very popular shows, however the aviation community is very much larger than the coaster community so I really don't think you'd get too many viewers beyong the coaster enthusiasts.
  17. Ok so Disneyworld isn't an American icon? Sure we're not Disneyworld, but that doesn't mean they won't attack. Who thought they would be plotting against a mall in Columbus? Things happen unexpectedly. Why not be prepared to prevent rather than start preventing after it happens. It may be an inconvenience for five minutes, but ya know what I sure feel alot safer and don't mind it all. People complain too much, especially when it's for their own good. You guys act like it takes an hour to get through them when it takes five minutes at the most. People complain way too much over things to protect them. Recent cases being the "so called torture" at the prison in Baghdad. They b**** and moan about that yet when someones head is chopped off it's like no one cares about that. What would you rather have, women's panties put over your head and a picture taken or would you rather have your head chopped off and have a picture taken? I mean complaining doesn't get you anywhere in the world, and if you can't realize the fact that we live in such an unstable world that we need these extra precautions you need to go over to Iraq and see.
  18. Do you mean Whitewater Canyon? If you did they control when the water shoots up and hits people in spots.

Why not take a picture of every ride?
  20. Actually people can drive a real stock car. It's called the Richard Petty Experience and travels across the country, but it is based in Las Vegas. They visit the Kentucky Speedway at least once a year. Six Hundredth Post!

Nice disguise on trying to get people talking on what will be removed. Take some pictures of Delirium, Beast, and Flight of Fear. Those are all departing real soon.
  22. Well if the park didn't have the metal detectors and something did happen, you all would be blaming the park for not having them in the first place. Now when they have them and nothing does happen you complain they have them and that they take a whole five minutes to get through. Do you guys not understand what kind of world we're living in today? When you go wipe out every terrorist and crazy person in this world. PKI will surely be happy enough to remove these for you.
  23. That could quite possibly one of the stupidest things I've heard. No one thinks someone's going to go on a rampage at school, the workplace, or anywhere else do they? It takes maybe 5-10 minutes to get through the detectors. It's for your safety deal with it. Get there early before the park opens so you don't lose any of that precious riding time.
  24. Yes tickets are discounted heavily after a certain time. For some reason I do want to say it's around 5 or 6 PM.
  25. Unless of course you're at Sears Point.
