You know, for the Heckle and Howl attraction, it would've been great to have used Maestro.

I hope so, too. I don't plan on wasting my time on standing in line for it unless I hear they've changed it for the better. I went through it last year and everyone in that continuous line kept joking around and just laughed at the actors. Why? You could tell when a 'scary part' was coming up since the person ten people in front of you would scream or something and *boom* there goes the surprise.

Right. I know I have to have a ticket to get in. I was just wondering how parking worked. And even though it's considered a 'sell-out' that is simply because of them buying out the park, no? So in reality, based on previous years, what are crowds usually like? Should I be expecting weekday crowds or Saturday-type crowds?

Since I'm going through withdrawal, I figured I'd go to pride night with some friends. Couple questions... Is the park generally pretty busy with long waits on pride night? Also, I know you can't use season pass for admission to the event, but am I still able to use my pass for parking? Or do they even charge parking for buy-outs?

I read somewhere they were waiting on getting permits or something. Some sort of issue like that, anyhow. I'll try to find that source.

Fearfest is included in season pass prices. PKI's fearfest, that is. Wonderland just started doing Fearfest last year and they've charged for it, as has Carowinds for their Scarowinds event. If you want to go to those, you will have to pay no matter what. PKI's Fearfest, Cedar Point's Halloweekends, etc. don't require a seperate admission. It's the same as it was last year.

You've always had to pay extra for Wonderland's Fearfest and Scarowinds. You used to have to pay for PKI's fearfest the first couple years. Nothin' new

So when do teams start forming, because I'm totally in on this.

What is Lindner doing these days? I didn't know he was in the area still. (Though I'll admit, I don't really make it a point to keep up with the guy)

I would also love to see a return. I'd love to actually get involved with it this year.

I love Intamin. They push the limits. They aren't afraid to be innovative. Yeah, B&Ms are great. They know what they do well and stick with it...Intamin pushes the limit and, unfortunately, suffers some extensive downtime quite often. I'm a person that is willing to sacrifice for some downtime if I'm able to get a unique experience. (Not saying B&Ms or any others are bad...just saying, I like Intamin's thinking)

Ouch. That's a little harsh. Thanks for the photos, TopGun. I figured I could count on you for those pics. It'd be nice if CF did reopen that part of the queue. Yeah, the queue is already long enough, but a good portion of the ride experience looks to be the queue.

This is probably one of the most exciting coasters Cedar Point has had in awhile. Yeah, Millie is great and Draggie is tall and fast...but record-breakers don't appeal to everyone whereas Maverick will appeal to quite a large group of people. Thrill seekers get their fair share of thrills with some pretty decent speed and low, fast turns. More family-oriented people don't have to pass it up because it isn't a huge, towering monster and speed demon. Hell, I'd bet even grandma could ride, her teeth will stay in unlike if she rode Dragster. ...and records get broken, year after year. Is it really all that important to have a record for a year or two?

Does anyone have pictures of the old queue? I've never seen it and would love to. When they 'changed' the queues, did they just take out the part below the station, or did the queue used to go through the bottom of the station and then go up to the loading platform a different way?

This is seriously one of the best fansites for any park...anything, actually...that I've visited. It's great. The team does care, the community is friendly and helpful. And the content is oh-so-juicy! Sure, some other sites boast some great content and have a pretty decent (albeit smartass) admin team and the members tear each other apart...especially newbies. No...I'm not talking about EPKI, so don't get your panties in a wad. I enjoy all of the PKI fansites (PKIC happens to be my favorite, though!) I was talking about a certain popular Cedar Point website that generates quite a bit of buzz. Yes, I frequent that site and enjoy what it has to offer, but the community is full of savages. Not saying everyone there is bad, but quite a bit of people are.

Just a quick question... I was at Fearfest last year, but was with people that weren't really interested in doing the haunts. I know the lines can be god-awful, but is it possible to get in all (or most) of the haunts in one night?

So is Coney Maul pretty much gone?
