Rumor Smasher...please, either put up or shut up. These SoB threads are littered with your "I know something you don't know" posts and are completely worthless. *IF* you knew something worth noting, you wouldn't be posting on here.

The Paramount Parks were way overpriced, so the price cut is probably just to get the parks in line with reality.

The funny thing about the SoB incident is that at BeastBuzz, just weeks before the accident, Maureen made sure to point out how the wood in the rose bowl shakes when the trains go by and that it is supposed to do that...so in the case of Sonny...even if it shakes, it'll still break. (yeah..sick joke) -Reclaimer...I'll be here all week-

Monty Jasper is working on this because he is VP of Maintenance for Cedar Fair. If he wasn't involved I'd be surprised.

That just screams "Ride this ride!" ...with it's bad publicity already, I doubt they'd even consider doing that. (This post was made all in good fun, with no offense meant to be taken...so please, don't take any. It isn't yours to take )

You're right! It's missing..a loop! But seriously..I feel your pain. Oldiesmann, the loop may not have been the problem...but it's part of the solution the park is working on, and that is new trains.

Umm..this isn't a problem Cedar Fair created, and neither was Hercules. Cedar Fair is just trying to fix the problem.

That's for sure! Helps the off season fly by, though. Only a little more than 4 months to go!

Our own Captain Nemo took the pictures on one of his flyovers he does for the site. The site did not post those pictures before yesterday because they were waiting on permission from the park. So yes, both the site and Nemo have a great respect for the park and its staff.

The park just hired Spiderman into the wood coaster maintenance division. They just got rid of the cherry picker. ...at least, that's what a good friend's source inside the park that is good friends with the Lemon Chill guy who is good friends with Dick Kinzel told me.

It's that time of year again.

They've got a whole world to map and update. They'll get around to updating it eventually...but even then, it'll be a quick snapshot and update and it'll be like that for another few years.

They completely dismantle the ride in the off-season. They do it to Wave Swinger at Cedar Point as well.

lol, I was kind of being a smart ass. I don't want to scare you away from PointBuzz, or this site for that matter. Just, if you do go to PointBuzz, be careful what you say because there are some less-than-friendly people that I've seen posting over there. Some are just sarcastic...others just plain mean. If you have a few questions on Cedar Point you'd like answered, there's a ton of people here that would love to help you out as well. Just ask away over in the Other Parks forum...located a few below this one.

You may want to establish yourself here before you start telling people what is right or wrong and telling people what to do and insulting people. You'll find we're all pretty nice here at PKICentral, but from your two posts so far, it appears your attitude is more suited to PointBuzz.
