All of the sites are now showing their Paramount version of their logos.

You may have started something.

I'm wondering if it's just a placeholder image. I bet the P word is gone, and that could well be the font they'll use for the parks. But instead of the CF logo, maybe they're going to stick a Snoopy character next to each park's name. Or they might be deciding to maybe to something with Spongebob instead. Ugh

I just tried it out on my Mac with Firefox and I'm seeing the new logos. I'm not really sure...have you cleared your cache and all that? Did ya check your TCP/IP settings? Enable cookies? You want this dog?

darn Great Wolf Lodge. If it weren't for that ad, we'd probably see our nice new logo as well. Counting down to a new website? Hope so!

We don't know the announcement date is on the 26th for certain...but there's a pretty good chance that'll be the announcement date. They had that date on the calendar for the announcement for a little under a day, but then it was removed. It's believed someone just put the announcement announcement (redundant? yes!) on the calendar instead of under events.

That was a TR from MAY. Guess what happened in May? The park opened for the season. Guess what kind of mood the employees are in for the first few weeks of operations? A great mood. Once the season gets in full swing, employees start to get burned out on the job. It happens everywhere...Geauga Lake, KI, GAdv, Disney, Universal, you name it. When those employees start getting burned out, some do a pretty decent job hiding it from the guests so as to not ruin their experience. Others, however, simply *don't care* about the guests and their experience at the park. (Seeing a recurring theme here about the not caring?) These employees that don't care about the guest experience are the ones you see bickering back and forth at each other, yelling at guests, horsing around in the station, and "acting" like they're doing something, as you so elegantly put it. I could elaborate quite a bit more on the subject if you STILL don't get it, but I'll leave this post as it is for now so that it can sink in. ...That is, unless you just don't care?

I'm a few pages late, but I just wanted to add my two-cents into the discussion. One of my friends, a ride host at CP, came down to KI for the first time ever this summer. Every time he talks about the park with me, he always mentions how friendly and fun the staff were. He is amazed at how much fun the crews have while not sacrificing safety and capacity.

The park's official name is still Paramount's Kings Island, legally. It's no surprise they use that line in their employment release. All signs are starting to point towards the name change to Kings Island...even if this one press release doesn't seem that way to you. Yes, they've referred to themselves as Kings Island a lot in the past...but there's sure a lot of evidence of a name change this off season.

Was looking at today's press release about hiring and it looks like the "Casting Office" is now simply the "Hiring Office" Looks like another change indicating the Best of Hollywood Entertainment has left.

It cracks me up when people complain about having to walk "all the way" to the front gates from the parking lot...or standing in line to go through security, etc. Do these people not realize that their whole day will consist of WALKING and WAITING?
