You might be a coaster freak if...
just thought of a great one... you made a science fair project in grade school about the science of rollercoasters... (part 2) and you came in 2nd place... (part 3) and you instantly noticed other rollercoaster projects... (part 4) and could pick out mistakes in each of them. once again, guilty on all counts (just like Martha Stewart!)

PKI to share record
When PKI opened SoB, they won the title of park with the most wooden rollercoasters. PKI will still have this title, but Big Chief Mount Olympus will join PKI in that title in 2005. Each park will then have 4 wooden coasters. http://www.rcdb.com/document110.htm (And our Racers count as one coaster since they are mirror images.)

RCT
IMO. They had a ton of new features in it. The scenario creator is awesome. You can have a huge area for a dream park. I made one where half of it was coaster recreations, and the other half custom designs. Also money was turned off, so I could build and build, and theme and theme!

What Old PKI Ride Do You Miss?
I went with King Cobra. The fact that it was my first looping coaster put it at #1 for me.

Character Breakfast
BRING BACK IR!!! lol

RCT
I have to disagree. I have RCT2 with no expansions and no trainers. I heard the expansions were horrible, so I just kept my money. The scenario builder in RCT2 makes the original all you need! RCT3 looks like sim theme park, and they kept the jerky track, so it doesn't look as good as some other coaster games *coughNLcough*, but I will probably still buy it.

You might be a coaster freak if...
the sight of an amusement park causes instant changes in vacation plans. the sight of a rollercoaster instanty catches your eye when channel surfing... (part 2) and its a show on coasters on the Discovery channel... (part 3) and you watch the rest of it... (part 4) even though you've already seen it 5 times... (part 5) and you just came back from the park featured in it (I can say I've done all of these before). you make sexual inuendoes with rollercoasters as the theme. you have more than 3 rollercoaster video games... (part 2) and one of them you beta tested for. you have had a dream about an amusement park. you plan your vacations around amusement parks. you time the ride times of rides and compare it to the park's ride time. you have a poster in your bed room of a rollercoaster. you have rollercoaster shirts from more than one park... (part 2) that at least 2 are from different ends of the country. you have memorized the track layout to all of the rides in your local amusement park... (part 2) so you can do those riding commentaries while riding (ex: "OK, now we're taking off from 0-65... and now into the cobra roll!")... (part 3) and actually do it. you know what ACE is. you own a shirt that says "coaster freak". you write up a list of what might signal you being a coaster freak. EDIT: I can say I meet all of these requirements.

Roughest riding coaster at PKI?
Don't get me started on Mean Streak, that comes in #2 for my most painful ride experiences.
-
Vortex Rough?
It's like TRTR, it can be painful if you don't position yourself properly (guys know what I'm talking about). I like Vortex alot. I think if you ride it alot, you learn how to ride it properly, just as the others have said. I haven't had a painful ride on Vortex in a long time.

Roughest riding coaster at PKI?
SoB. Yeah, it's a great ride but I've had several painful rides on it. No where near as painful as X though. At least it's not the roughest coaster I've been on ever.

Dreams
The dream I remember having about PKI alot is whenever I work a late All Day (like 12 closing time). I dream that I am working at FoF, yet the people keep coming. My supervisor kept saying, "Just 10 minutes left", but guests just kept coming in. I remember getting mad at the guests for getting in line after the park closed. That was one horrible nightmare, it just wouldn't end! Thank goodness for closing times on loooooong days!

The Beast book
Theres a reason it's in the fiction section of the library.

Wonderpark
I did some research and I found out that the company that made the Boa Squeeze also made a whole lot of kiddy coasters called Python Pit.

BB Update
I was at the park today, and noticed some major changes already since the last update. The loading platform for Taz is being constructed, with the supports up. Also, much more of The Racers are up, with some of the tube sections up. Also some terrain changed are being made right next to the employee entrance.

Which is your favorite Paramount Picture at PKI?
The full name of the waterpark is Crocodile Dundee's Boomerang Bay. Jeez people, get it right! lol

TT funnel nearly done
Just have to say, PKIU does have an update with the construction of Coolatanga Racers and the Funnel. They are looking great!

Wonderpark
Since I had school off today, that can only mean one thing: boredom. Nothing to do but play PS2 and work on my next coaster. Since I had done both things for a few hours, I was bored. So I get online and start chatting. I then realize I still have some free game coupons for Laser Web, so I ask FoF if he wants to go to Laser Web, and we are off. I get there, and see FoF walking out of his car toward me. Turns out that it was closed for a private party. He then goes, "Wanna ride a coaster?" I start thinking, "What does he mea... ooooooh, he can't possibly mean..." He says, "Wanna go to Forest Fair?" Yup, he was talking about Wonderpark. We get to Forest Fair mall, and walk in through all the construction to Wonderpark. Did I mention I hate Wonderpark? It's loud, they have the DDR machine right next to their coaster so you can't hear the music, and little kids are running all over the place. Well, FoF and I get a ticket each for the Boa Squeeze, their indoor rollercoaster. Sad thing is, it had a line. We have to wait 1-2 cycles to get on. This lady in front of us starts yelling at us as we jokingly go "line jumpers!" when little kids cut us. She goes, "You two are RIDING?" A cycle later, "You know, Kings Island isn't that far from here." No kidding! The only reason I was there was because PKI was closed! She wins the "Bee-Yatch of the Day Award". Waiting in line I start comparing it to PKI rides. "Hey, it has a helix like Vortex, Beast, and SoB, a turned drop like AE, and a hump like FoF!" Well, beside it being a kiddy coaster, it was good. You go around it 3 times instead of 2 like on Taxi Jam (I think that's 2 times). Well, after that we play some DDR, air hockey, some ticket games, and then go to that outdoor store (can't remember the name) and then left. "If you go to a mall in the middle of winter to ride a kiddy coaster, you might be a coaster freak." -Me
