PKIU was featured on the front page of CoasterBuzz.com, one of the most well known coaster web sites on the internet. Our construction photos are what the links are for. Congrats on getting some exposure for the site Aaron!

Best ride in Rivertown
11 for Beast, 1 for TRTR. I think some of our older posters know who that could be. Maybe INRaider? Whatever happened to him anyways?

Best ride in Rivertown
Hands down, Beast. It's the park's signature ride. Not to mention the fact that I will be working on it next season.

PKIc v PKIU
Um... I think I said I would do that if one site had more than the other.

Flood Control Suggestion
Well, it does cut back on post whores. I really don't like people who post in every single topic just to get their post count up and make it seem like they have things to say. The flood control deters it.

PKIc v PKIU
I know, I'm talking about Laser Web, not PKI. Laser Web has good equipment, PKI's blows. And as you said, they co-exist. What a better way to co-exist that have a PKIU/PKIC day with both websites, instead of just one.

PKIc v PKIU
At PKI, sometimes different areas will challenge another area at some game. Last year OC rides played AZ rides in putt-putt. It's a great way to have fun with other people. Also, it's a way to give bragging rights to an area. Heres my idea, PKIC v PKIU at Laser Web. 3 matches, one winner. No prizes will be given, except the glory of representing your favorite unofficial PKI website and possibly leading it to victory. To make it fair, some people may be moved from one team to the other until the teams are equal. Only rule is you must be a registered member on the other site to be switched. I will play on wichever team has less people, since I am a member of both. I do not have any dates or times planned out, just wanted to pitch the idea to you guys. Remember, bragging rights could be on the line!

Siam Orchid Trip Report
I had a great time, even though the Partridge family episode wasn't nearly as good as the Brady Bunch one. Jeff was a guy I worked with at FoF last season who I invited, and he said he is probably going to check out PKIC. Beside my NES, I got a Beast pic taken by Charles himself, and I finally got my book autographed by him. On top of that, I got to meet Mrs. Chef for a minute or two, and then she had to leave. And not only that... but I found out exactly how well Chef really knows cooking. Siam Orchid is by far the best restaurant I have ever been to. I never liked Asian food that much before (I could eat it, just didn't like it that much), but this was excellent! I strongly recommend this restaurant!

WaterWorks and BB...
Last season I did not go to WW once. I will definatly go at least once next season to check out the changes.

Which area do you miss the most?
My home away from home, The OC!

Mid Winter Boomerang Bay Tour
Wow, this is great news! Finally The OC is getting a face lift (which it needs badly). I can't wait for next season to start and hopefully get to work on my old rides again every now and then!

Rides or look?
I think 2004 is a year for upkeep. Look at water works. That's almost all upkeep with just a couple new things. They should focus on upkeep this year, then a new ride in 2005.

Worst possible movie for PKI to name a ride after
wow... thats a sick, yet a very creative answer to the question. I'd like jackass to be a ride though. I mean riding a shopping cart would be awesome!!!

Don't forget PKIC Day at Siam Orchid on 1/18/04
Charles, you are the last person I would expect to be rude to anyone! Even when people at PKIU were flaming you, you stayed calm and lets their embers die out.

Don't forget PKIC Day at Siam Orchid on 1/18/04
Hey, the PKIC basher is here. I've decided to give PKIC a chance, and wouldn't be surprised if some people here did this :jerry: I know, I've done some bashing on the site, and I get some smack talk because of it, I will understand. Well, the reason I've posted here is because I am RSVP-ing for the party. I don't know if my parents would let me, but I'll post if I can't make it. Can't wait to meet the chef again and actually get to have a conversation with him instead of "Is there any money in your bag Charles?" :chef:

Your childhood first coaster
Well since we are also talking about rides that got you hooked on coasters, mine was actually King Cobra. I think it must have been because it was where I really overcame my fears of coasters. It was the first really intimidating ride I rode, and it still makes me sad that it is no longer there. Yeah, it wasn't a very good ride, but it had alot of sentimental value for me.

Your childhood first coaster
1st coaster: Beastie 1st (and only) coaster to scare me s***less: King Cobra [RIP] And I go hands up on SoB, but not Xcel. No way did I have the guts to go hands up on that.

What is the best ride to operate?
Oh, come on! You worked the FoF crew! There can't be anything more thrilling than launching people 0-60 with the touch of a button! Yeah, it was fun and all, but the guests would never get into it nearly as much as they do at Beast. When Beast comes back and the ride op goes "Welcome back Beast riders, how was your ride!" People would clap at the least. I've tried doing that at FoF, and it was silent. I think people are so disoriented to figure out what just happened.

What is the best ride to operate?
I gotta say the best to operate is Beast. The guests get excited about the ride, and especially the night rides. I've never gotten more excitment out of guests at any other ride!

PKI In Monthly Top 10 Flats at RCPro
I don't hate TRTR, but I do think Deli is better. And yes, I have gotten a nutcracker on TRTR, but only one time out of the multiple times that I've ridden it. I got three on another certain ride in the park in just one riding, but that was the only ride I will ever ride it again (wanna find this ride? Follow the lil kiddies).

Ride Crew Rating Systems
FoF had 6-7-ish. We were one of the highest crews, but I must admit, those winning crews were very excellent crews.
-
Photoshop Phriday
I like the ones on something awful. Especially the half done launch ride. Something I've seen done in RCT2 many times.

What is your best and worst Park related exprences
I agree, Tom just told my thoughts. And don't worry, I know who the guy you are talking about was, and this season was his last one at PKI, he has retired.

Happy New Year!
*Does the "I can legally see R movies now" dance* Also, now that it's new years, PKI is accepting applications! If you want to work at PKI, I suggest you apply. Last summer was awesome. I met alot of great people, made money, and got a free pass to PKI so I could ride rides when I wasn't working!

What is your best and worst Park related exprences
1. What do you mean haven't had your lapbar checked? 2. Ride ops are people, not robots. We need human interaction, and not the kind where a person hands you something then ignores you the rest of the time. Yeah we talk, but I try to talk only when people are getting into their seats still, or we have a hold up where we can't launch the train or continue checking restraints (ie. restraints have been unlocked for someone to get out). 3. Yes, I know, the "3, 2, 1, goodbye!" thing does get annoying. There was only one person that did that every train that launched. When I was driving, I would try to space out the times I did it, so the people in the station would only hear it once. There are also sometimes where a person would ask me to say it, like a little girl who had never ridden before. OK, I think I am done with defending my crew, lol.
