I worked FoF at BeastBuzz last year. Basically people go ride rides all day, then after the park closes, all the people get ERT after close.

You don't need three days, two would do it. You could do the regular park on one day, and the water park on the other. As long as you go during the week (wed is best day), and not on weekends, you can do both parks in 2 days. Weekends may need 3. I hope you enjoy your first trip to PKI! It really is a great park.

Hey, I like my... oops, I mean your avatar. Yeah, prizes change every year. I did notice Shrek dolls. I do believe those are new. If they were there last year, then I wasn't paying attention to prizes by the end of the year.

Sorry about the blatant Chappelle quote in the topic, I just had to do it... lol I had the day off due to a mixup with scheduling with my theater group, so I decide to spend a couple hours at the park. I arrive at 5:30 and head to Beast. As I wait in line, I smell that awful smell of smoke. Turns out, it was the guy right in front of me. I tell him he can't smoke in line, and say "ok" and keeps smoking. I ask him to put it out, and he just keeps on going. Eventually the no smoking thing comes over the speakers, and he puts it out. Jeez, some people just **** me off. When I get in the front seat (for my 10th ride of the year), I see not 1, not 2, but AT LEAST 5 people smoking in line. I tell the ride ops, and they take a look at it too. They were kinda hard to miss, giant puffs of smoke were coming out of the line. Well, as I leave the station I see 2 more guys smoking cigars! Not just cigarettes, but big fat cigars. Well, my 10th ride of the season was good, and when I get back I see our good friend Dragonlord on the job. I say hi, have a quick chat with him, and then I am off. Get some snaps on the Eagles, not very good though. Coming off Eagles, I see SR&R has no line, and since I have not ridden it yet, I go on. This is a fun lil flat, not one of my favs though. Next I ride Zephyr and then Monster. While on Monster I teach these kids how to spin them. Tower's new elevators look odd, very bland, but alot more window space. I then get 2 more rides on Beast before closing time. I am now up to 12 rides on Beast this season!

Yeah, I was driving Eagles when his group came on. Definatly best snappers of the morning. Also, thanks for complementing our crew. These seatbelts are a pain, but we are trying our hardest to keep riders moving. And I also rode SoB yesterday. SoB crew is doing very well. They were able to keep the line moving quickly, 30 minutes max wait.

The other topic is pretty wide, which is obvious by the 100% voting for one choice. This question is about PKI's policy. Holiday World just set up designated smoking areas, and banned smoking from the park beside those areas. Do you think PKI should ban smoking and have a couple designated areas, ban it only in Hanna-Barberra Land, Nickelodeon Central, and Boomerang Bay, or just keep the current smoking rules?

There are only 2 cases that I yell at guests when I am off duty, line jumpers and smokers. This one guy was smoking at SoB's line and I told him he can't smoke, he just turned to me and laughed at me, while blowing smoke in my face. I told him I was an employee, and just ignored me. I told the ride op and he yelled at the guy and played the Seibert no smoking spiel, and he finally put it out. Jeez, some people just **** me off.

The biggest SoB has to come from SoB! Boob wins my vote, cause he is always ripping on the n00bs. Heck, he was there to rip on me when I was new! You aren't a true PKIU-er until he picks you out for being dumb.

When did beast ever have 4 trains?? And hey, who can forget missing winterfest, yea good times. However, rumors, rumors, rumors, about winterfest. Oh and the totally awesomely sweet old que line on top gun with the misslies and the cockpit and everything. yea good times lol I think that joke went right over someone's head.

This sounds strangly like the post I made yesterday... Oh well...

Now that The Beast has music on the lifts, the question arose in my mind about adding music to the ride stations and queue. Now I know we have Q-TV, but let's face it, sometimes it gets annoying seeing the same music video in every queue. When I was at SFMM, they didn't have Q-TV's. Instead, they played music that fit the mood for the ride. X and Scream! both had techo music playing in the station and lines. What made them interesting is that each ride had a different soundtrack. Now I think this would be a nice addition to PKI if they used this. There is a song called "The Beast" by Twisted Sister that I think fits the ride perfectly. It has lines like, "This killer knows his buisness, he is the predator." Everytime I ride The Beast now, I can hear that song playing in my head. So would you prefer music that you only hear at one ride, or Q-TV?

I was watching the fireworks from Coney Mall, and I didn't see any firework get hit by lightning. I doubt it could, unless the firework was still on the ground when it got hit.

STOP THE FIGHTING! I went to SFMM last year, and Scream was by far my favorite ride not only in the park, but in all of the coasters I have ridden. Yes, the whole parking lot thing is an eye sore when looking at pics, but you don't really notice it when riding it, mainly because you are focused on the track racing under your feet. I am sad to hear about this news. It is an awful even whenever a ride op dies on the job for any reason. This is definatly not a topic to be arguing about.
