CP Ridership in 2013
I disagree, mobile phones are capable of desktop sites. I say get rid of mobile sites, they are limited. I never turn my desktop on, I doubt it would if I did. maXair: 723,561 Terpy, that why. iPhones are for teens.

CP Ridership in 2013
Kings Island's 2013 rider counts have yet to be released, but here's last year's for comparison. CP's numbers are probably much more accurate than KI's, considering that CP uses turnstiles at nearly every ride. (Though some people do spin those for fun.)

Do Not Give Out Free Things
People gossip, on forums, on the street, in there house. This is what happens when news is reported. People form a opinion of someone they do not know personally then assume they are correct. Fact is, he is correct. If you are accused of theft, they Will Most likely fire you even if you are falsely accused. They can fire you for being pregnant in some states then cover the truth with something else. No one isb100% honest.

Is Paramount Really to Blame for Winterfest's Demise?
Carowinds had to refund presold tickets for Winterfest 2006, Cedar Fair cancelled it within days of the sale closing. Park maps and signs were changed or altered to reflect ASAP. Most likely, the decision was made long prior to the sale being final, Cedar Fair's presence was there in March, we called them "Spies" cause they were guests nicely dressed with clipboards and ties. Then we found out they weren't guests, they started wearing Paramount Parks nametags but none of the Park managers knew Any of them. Then Paramount Parks managers went from wearing Paramount Parks polos to suits and ties. Then Knizel himself was spotted at Carowinds wearing a Paramount Parks nametag...rumors abound. Two weeks later, news broke...we had been brought by Cedar Fair pending SEC approval.

"Centurion" name registered by Cedar Fair
It wasnt presented by Cedar Fair, it was presented by an ecomonics development rep.

The Bat flies again at Kings Island
Good show to Kings Island's PR department!

Banshee Construction Progress
Amazing how far from vertical the loop supports are, thats one strong footing

"Centurion" name registered by Cedar Fair
My source is my guess like everyone else however breaking down the name "Centry" is a person guards something. We know Carowinds is starting to remodel North Gate and the new coaster will replace our skycoaster. It will be all on the NC side and be 300 feet tall.

Carowinds...next to the remodeled north gate...

Which Action Theater Attraction Is Your Favorite?
Secrets of The Lost Temple, basically a knock off of Indy flims. Only lasted half the season at Carowinds and was then replaced with Smash Factory I think. The SimEx generic fllms were nothing compared to the Paramount Parks backed ones.

Intaminitis
Only Disney ccoaster I have ridden is Big Thunder Mountain at WDW, I thought WED designed their coasters (except Matterhorn, the roller skaters and Rock 'n' Roller Coaster) in house and sub-contracted out parts of manufacting? Even Rock 'n' Roller Coaster has different trains from the normal Vekoma ones.

Intaminitis
Only good Vekoma is Carolina Cobra, and I believe the trains made the difference. Ues and I do mean trains, Carowinds has two of them. Nighthawk isnt worth the wait. I liked Ninja and Deja Vu but they were almost walk on and rough as some older woodies.

Carowinds will be investing $50 million in the next three years!
KI got the shaft? Ya'll are getting Banshee.

Membership Vs Season Pass?
Ok, let me put it this way. KI is closed, but I am still paying a monthly fee. Offseason benefits are all in the area around KI within 15 miles radius of the park. I live 90 miles from the park, what is the point in paying for offseason beneifts if it is going to cost more to use them than I would spend going to the same or similar place where I live. Example: Free movies tickets - The local theater doesnt accept my membership even through it is owned by the same company as the one that the park has a contract with.
-
Membership Vs Season Pass?
Hmm, I paid for my season passes last year with monthly payments over the Winter. I would much rather pay for them all at one time cause if I miss a payment, they could cancel them.

Drinking Alcohol in the Parking Lot
In a perfect world, alcohol likely wouldnt have been discovered.
-
Drinking Alcohol in the Parking Lot
I dont either, maybe it is because I dont drink but 1/2 a bottle every blue moon. I dont care for the carbonation.

Intamin, Inc
It would rather be damp from log flume than soaked from splashboats.
-
Drinking Alcohol in the Parking Lot
Its fairly simple. Encouraging KIC users to break park rules is a bad idea, especially if KIC wants to be in the good graces of KI let alone the people posting such.

O.D. Hopkins builds rapids rides too and shoot the chutes. Arrow built shoot the chutes and flumes. KECO brought shoot the chutes rides from all three. Whitewater Falls at Carowinds is O.D. Hopkins while Whitewater Falls at Great America is an Arrow. Diamond Falls at KD and the one at CW, I cant remember who made them.

Death at Six Flags over Texas
Push down lightly and pull up twice. Thats how we were told to do it at Carowinds. Most seatbelts can be undone by visitors, is a panicking visitor always going to be rational if the lapbar "fails*" *a visitor thinks that it is not working properly. A lapbar check will catch a lapbar that doesnt properly lock. It does happen, I seen it, we Always took the proper action.
