This was brought to my attention yesterday, and to be quite frank, I was suprised. Mainly due to the fact I was joking about what would happen if Dragster was stuck at the top. Guests on that train were stuck there for at least 15 minutes, until a maint. man came up the elevator and pushed the train down. To back up my claim, I have a video to show you the insanity. It's not mine, but it's definitely worth a look. It's streaming WMV.. so be sure you have the latest WMP installed. Dragster stuck at top.... Old news, but good news for those who didn't see it beforehand. ~S~

I totally agree with that. You all keep forgetting that IJST is a Family Coaster, and you who are dissapointed have way too high of expectations for a ride like this. Take it for what it is, and if you don't like it, don't ride it! As a family coaster, IJ delivers. I think it is a decent investment. ~S~

Strangely enough, IGN of all people mention PCW's and PKI's. IGN On IJST at PKI and PCW ~S~

Considering the history that The Racer has, removing it would be as stupid as removing The Beast. ~S~

Yup, I think that was the idea. *rolls eyes* AZ has a great assortment of rides, so my vote goes to AZ. ~S~

...*sigh* I don't know where some of you are getting off that most of the staff at PKI are crude, ruthless people. The last thing that the park wants are a bunch of guests that are constantly going to Guest Relations and complaining about how abrasive or rude an associate has been. I'm pretty sure that when a bad GR is filed, that associate will get counseled by some area, supe, or whoever tells them. On top of that, HR has been filtering off people through their screening process. I'm pretty sure that it weeds out the "Bad employees" that people encounter. But as a guest, you really should be following the rules that the park has enforced. There are reasons that they are there, and you should follow them. They are there for your safety, convienince, and help you to have fun. I'm sure you, your freinds or family don't want to see anybody hurt, so please follow rules. As for park conditions, there have been some touching up going on. Jeff mentioned during the IJ tour that the parking lot was being touched up to give it a better look, and create more of a BG entrance atmosphere. Plus the Tower has a much-needed paint job, and Face/Off has as well. So if you think there is something that needs touching up, tell GR about it. They are open to suggestions at anytime. They aren't just there to complain to, they are there to help. So utilize them. ~S~

No clue, but this isn't the first time that PKI invested in a 1 Train Vekoma *Cough*Reptar*Cough* Just something about them makes me want to puke when it comes to capacity. ~S~

A coaster might be a possibility... But IMO, SOB getting Intamin trains would be like Delirium's swing going 360 degrees. Isn't going to happen. ~S~

I was roaming around the park Saturday, and I noticed that the site formerly known as Rock Shop is now being redone into a sports shop. The only visible things from the outside is a small sign on the window that says something along the lines of: "Stay Tuned For The PKI All Stars Sport Shop!" There was also a whole bunch of College Items (OSU, Michigan, UC, etc), and a few other things in the right hand display. So whenever it opens, check it out. Unfourtunately, I have no photos. But it should be coming along as the week progresses. ~S~

If PKI had a fair amount of indoor attractions, then it might be plausible. But the way I see it, it's farfetched and risky. Bringing back Winterfest might be the best thing for them, and is probably the only thing we'll ever see in lieu of some kind of post-November operation. ~S~

Actually, it had a broken part last season that made it unable to spin. It was fixed near the end of it and it does spin. Though I'm not sure about the speed. ~S~

I'm not exactly a big fan of it. That's all I'm saying.... ~S~

I don't know, Henry Winkler (The Fonz) isn't seen much these days. He probably wanted to distance himself from Happy Days for the simple fact that he'd feel really typecast. At least they got someone from the cast. Way better than how they pulled off the CDBB Grand Opening with that Paul Hogan stunt double. Then again, didn't Hogan decline coming to PKI? Ok.. I'm done being off topic. ~S~

I'm not exactly a big fan of the new paint job, but it goes with the area it's in. The real shocker will be the boatload of ACErs standing in line for it. ~S~

While this is a literal breath of fresh air for all non-smokers, I'm hoping that Guest Relations won't have to hear a plethora of complaints about not being able to smoke anywhere they want. But with 19 smoking areas, it should keep the complaints down to an extent. The ride ops are dancing in the streets for this one. ~S~

Dragster is a quick fix with a long line. Millie is better IMO. ~S~
