8-24 Aaron Carter
I'm thinking crowd behavior was the key factor in banning Spears from the park. She wouldn't come back to the park anyway, she's too full of herself and probably thinks she's too good to play on such a small stage. Who needs Brit? Not me. ~S~

8-24 Aaron Carter
Believe it or not, they were selling beer at the Al concert. But if you think about it from a business standpoint, they'll make money off the soccer moms and their high-strung dads if they sell beer at an Aaron Carter concert. The more stressed parents that come, the more money they make. Keep in mind that the Park alcohol rules still apply there too. As for Aaron Carter, he's the brother of a teenybopper boy band who copies and fakes everything. I hate to break it to all the pop music lovers, but it's true. That's why I never listen to it. It's always the same stuff over and over. And the prepubecent girls can't get enough of it. *listens to his Al CDs and Other music* ::Ends His Small Pop Music Rant:: Billy Idol is another story. From what I heard, the crowd was quite tame, but not Billy. He was howling some inaudible song that i couldn't tack. Mostly considering the fact that I was way over in Coney Mall.. lol. Eh, I bet it was ok. ~Shadow~

Why don't we PKIUnlimited Folks meet at PKI soon?
I agree with Tanner. I myself am going to be going to college in about a good month, so if you were to do this right now, you wouldn't be able to get many people in. While it's a good idea, the time is just not right. ~Shadow~

PKIU Award Categories!
Other: Best Video Game: Wario Ware MicroGame$ (Game Boy Advance)-Quirky enough to be cool, and gameplay that makes you laugh and wonder what Nintendo was smoking when this was in dev. Best Weird Al Song: Ok, as a long time listener of the Parody Master, It's hard to just pinpoint one. I honestly have to split this. Ironically they're both from Running With Scissors. 1st Place: Albuquerque- The first time you listen to it, it will have you rolling around on the ground. Then you start to memorize it.. all 11 minutes of it. 2nd Place:Your Horoscope for Today- Just plain fun to sing. Poodle Hat is good too.. PKI Most likely to Steal a KC car-PKI_MAN. I only know this as a fact because he's elaborated to me where they are and what his plans are. Plus he's my brother. Best Arcade: Coney!! It has the biggest selection and the most intact DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) machine in the park. The ones in the Festhaus and Rivertown have been put through much abuse.. Best Pay Attraction- Slingshot, followed by Skyflyer Best Flat-Delirium (That one is a no brainer. ) Other (Again...) Freddy or Jason?- Why, Jason of course! You can't really argue with a huge guy that has a mask on his face, weilding a destructive weapon of his choice. Freddy only has his claws, so you do the math. Last but not least... Best Movie- Tommy Boy.. Great movie.. (Whadya do?!) Ok, I've said my peace. ~Shadow~

New WaterPark anouncement...
It's more of the fact that you went to Japan to begin with. I have been wanting to see that place, thanks to an exchange student from Nagoya. ~Shadow~

New WaterPark anouncement...
Now I want to go to Japan even more. I envy you so much Chef. ~Shadow~

New WaterPark anouncement...
I hate to break up the fun, but I have something to mention. Besides, our topic is the "New Waterpark". I have noticed the uprising of complaints about wanting a thrill ride instead of a redone waterpark. Has the thought of a Flying Super Saturator ever crossed your mind? I mean, it is possible, so I wouldn't rule it out just yet. Nothing wrong with a little speculation now and then. ~Shadow~

Sobriders time travel experence part 3.
Interesting story. Nicely done. But you know what sobrider? I liked MGS2: SOL. Just because Snake wasn't playable through a good chunk of it doesn't make the game bad. The gameplay is still there, and that's all that should matter. If Otacon were playable instead of Snake, I'd still play it. ::End Video Game Rant:: Anywhoo, I hope that doesn't turn out to be true. I would really like to see a coaster instead of a flat. Flats are nice, but people come for coasters. Well, a good chunk of them at least. Let's just hope they announce soon, for i'm getting a little antsy myself. LOL... ~Shadow~

Tips?
It really depends on what your kids are willing to do. Try doing what's been suggested (Trying light coasters and staying in HB and NC), then ask your kids what they feel that they're ready for (and tall enough for). That way you know everything goes smoothly. If all else fails, there are plenty of other things to do than besides ride rides. Even though I despise them, you might like watching the shows. You can also shop , go to the arcades, and a ton of other things i can't think of at the moment. Experimentation is the key to success. ~Shadow~

TR Franchise
I couldn't agree more. There are some great anime movies out, you should see them. Oh, and about Sprirted Away, that's a sweet movie. Miyazaki outdone himself there. Watch Cowboy Bebop: The Movie as well. Good stuff. ~Shadow~

Death at PKI
Wow. I'm speechless. All I can really say about this is that I hope the family can cope with this loss. My heart goes out to the Krekeler family as well. ~Shadow~

Weird Al
Well Mrs. G, I can chant most of the old parts of the Yoda Chant. I've heard the chant online, so I had a good idea on what to do. Al threw me off due to the fact he added some new stuff to it. The new stuff is good, and I have to re-memorize the Yoda Chant due to it. It's good stuff, so I don't mind. *Can only remember The Man Show homage in the new part* ~Shadow~

New Apparel
Yeah, that and all of our other Playboy stuff that magically floated into our shop. They are briefs if anyone is interested in knowing.. You know.. with all the Girl merch we have, you might as well call us Girl Space: Revenge of the Fuzzy Head Bobbers. We have very little guy merch left.. ~Shadow~

Weird Al
Al: "HO!" Crowd: "HO!" Santa: Ho Ho Ho! *pause* Hoe! *Hands a hoe to Al, then gets punched out* Great joke. My seat was in section 3, row MM. I can't remember what seat though. Great pictures BTW. They're probably better than my crappy no-zoom pictures back in section 3 (my camera has no zoom..) .. *Chants the Yoda Chant, and gazes at his autography* ~Shadow~

Weird Al
It was sort of my goal for the night was to meet him. I had no idea that there was a contest going on for the passes. If they were on sale, I would of been on that faster than Emo Philips' part in UHF. But all in all I enjoyed myself. I got pretty close to meeting him, and the show was awesome. Just gotta take what life throws at you.. But DragonLord, you're lucky. Any words exchanged with Al are great words... Glad to see you enjoyed the show. ~Shadow~

Weird Al
~Shadow's review of The Show~ All in all it was a great show. After the show was delayed an hour due to rain , he opened on Angry White Boy Polka, did some songs off of his new album. For "A Complicated Song", there is a part in the lyric where he says : "I thought maybe I'd unwind, try out that new roller coaster ride.. *a good chunk of people point towards SOB* and the guide..." Afterwards he did all of the ones you'd come to expect to see. Songs like "Dog Eat Dog", "Wanna B ur Lovr", etc. Between parodies, they'd show videos from stuff like UHF, AL TV, etc.. it was all good. Especially when he knocked on Justin Timberlake and Em. (Know what I'm sayin? ) He sort of closes out on "The Saga Begins" (In where I think Steve Jay or Jim West starts out doing Chopsticks), and everyone sang along. But he REALLY closed out on "Yoda". I'm suprised to say he added some new material to the Yoda Chant! *Ziggy Socky Ziggy Socky Oy Oy Oy!* (I love that.. The Man Show is great. ) I couldn't begin to name all the songs he played (Well.. um melodied somewhat), but for all those wondering, he DID do "Fat" and "Eat It" (In which he donned the fat suit. See it to believe it.) He did a chunk of my favorites, but no Dare To Be Stupid.. Oh well, can't win 'em all.. I even tried trying to get a glimpse of him fo my camera. But nobody told me where the backstage passes were being sold.. Luckily I have a freind who did, so I hope it goes through. Bottom line: It rocked. Period. Highly Reccomended. 10/10 ~Shadow~

Weird Al
Ok I will. He's going to be in my precence. I am excited. Just don't be expecting me to be wearing lederhosen in a vat of sour cream. ~Shadow~

Sections
I'm split between AZ, Rivertown, and Coney. Here's why: AZ-SOB is one of my faves, and Delirium IMO is the best flat in the park. (For those defending the Flyers.. no I can't snap, i tried.. >_<) Coney- I work there , it houses a classic coaster, 2 record breaking coasters, and tolerable music (Minus I Believe I Can Fly, that one is the worst.. >_<). Rivertown- The atmosphere is relaxing, it houses the Legendary Beast (which is a no-brainer to mention ), and it's just fun to walk around.. That's my dillema.. ~Shadow~

New fomat soon! Let's thank our leader.
I haven't seen the new format, but Sparky has. I can't wait to see it myself. *gives a cake to Aaron* Keep it up man. ~Shadow~

TR:SS
Yep... especially when you see the same kinds of whiny kids every day pulling the same stuff. It gets on your nerves. (Sorry about going off topic.. I saw the show. It could of been WAY better. 4/10) ~Shadow~

beast built in two parts
I can take The Beast's helix tunnels. That's no problem. It's SOB's lift chain that deafens my ears.. ~Shadow~

Jeff Siebert
Yeah, i agree with you. I've looked at the page myself and felt it needed a little more. Maybe Jeff could give you some info about himself. Talk to him. Oh, and I have met him myself. I happened to catch him on the 4th on the way back from break. I double taked when i saw his ID. I kind of yelled his name and carried a short conversation about the day. IMO he is a pretty nice guy considering how far up he is. He's cool, or as sobrider put it: A God Among Men It couldn't of been better put. ~Shadow~

attendance
The attendance for 2001 was most likely higher than the attendance for 2002. Not very many people came to the park during that year due to the extremely hot weather. This year it's been going up and down. Just recently it's been down due to these nasty thunderstorms we've been having. Things look good weatherwise, so attendance should be up this week. ~Shadow~

Concert
Al is awesome. Going to his concerts are like being drunk, yet sober.. In other words, intoxicatingly fun! I'm going there and bringing my girlfreind too. Can't wait! Oh, and Pop music is awful. Point blank. ~Shadow~

Beast struck by lighting
Yeah I heard about that. Pretty freaky stuff. You would of figured that Delerium, the Tower, or DZ would of been struck. But it was The Beast. Now fortified with lightning! ~Shadow~
