February 5, 201412 yr I would like to catch a glimpse of them, but the webcam is wet and probably got its screen frosted.
February 5, 201412 yr Don posted a picture of the train in the truck trailer I can't figure out how to post it But they still have to be put together by the Kings Island Maintenance

February 5, 201412 yr She will be testing before you know it! Not much longer till opening day/media day!
February 5, 201412 yr So I wonder; before they do a test run, do they have to inspect them again, re-torque all the bolts and all? I would think they would, but just wondering..

February 5, 201412 yr Is Don using an extremely powerful lens, or are they unloading the cars way over by the Picnic Grove? EDIT - I get it.. the workshop. Until I read what was on the sign, I was trying to figure out where near Banshee this picture was taken...
February 5, 201412 yr I know, right? Maybe it's a turn-and-lock, packing configuration of some sort. Or, maaaaybeeee.... the forward orientation in the CGI videos was just a.... diversion?
February 5, 201412 yr If it is anything like Griffon, the wheel components swivel and pivot 360 degrees. It was probably easier to ship them sideways.
February 5, 201412 yr I would love to know the price of one of those trains. My guess it would have the price tag of a very high end sports car. I'm sure it has the engineering to match, as well.

February 5, 201412 yr LOL, That makes sense. So does "Ship," with a slight, albeit hilarious typo involved in the delivery? Reminds me of when I once sent out an e-mail to the entire leadership team at the company I used to work for. The common, courteous exit salutation was "Regards." Unfortunately for me, the "g" button is pressed using the same finger as... "t". Legendary.

February 5, 201412 yr Why do we have two threads with the same content being posted at the same time? Does the arrival of a Banshee train not pertain to Banshee construction progress or what?

February 5, 201412 yr These seats don't look very "fluffy" friendly...I'm not that large of a person but I'm wondering if I'll even fit!!!!
February 6, 201412 yr For the community of coaster enthusiasts who are 6+ ft, I hope it will be comfortable, but with the reports already, I don't believe it will be an issue.
February 6, 201412 yr These seats don't look very "fluffy" friendly...I'm not that large of a person but I'm wondering if I'll even fit!!!! The vests look small, but the top part can pull out like a seatbelt, and that's how it form-fits to the rider. As for comparisons to existing rides, here's the best I can do: When I went to Cedar Point with my dad, he did not fit on Gatekeeper (even in row 4), but it was very, very close. Banshee uses the same restraints as Gatekeeper. On the other hand, he DID fit on Corkscrew, but by an incredibly small margin. Corkscrew uses the same restraints as Vortex. So basically, if you can get on Vortex without too much effort, Banshee shouldn't be a problem (at least in row 4). Your mileage may vary. I should probably clarify that row 4 has seatbelts that are about an inch to an inch and a half longer than the other rows.
