We did not mention all the statistics during the announcement because statistics are not what make a roller coaster great; it's the ride experience it delivers that makes it great.

  • It's good to see me, isn't it? No need to respond! That was rhetorical. Under 30 days until Banshee makes its public debut! We can't wait for you to come out and experience this ride.

We have guests that are more excited about our live shows than our roller coasters, that visit the park specifically for the shows. For these guests, the Cirque Imagine announcement was as exciting as

EDIT: You can see they're using the same panels on outside of the station on the inside. This machine is really coming along great!

They have been paying very special attention to the top of that turn after the 2nd vertical since they've finished steel erection.

Is that they one they had issues with during installation? If I remember correctly they had to take down and re-install the supports a few supports for some reason...

Nice picture of the station; the turn out of the station reminds me a bit like the start of Wild Eagle. Only 52 more days... :D

I believe the part of the ride you are referring to is the immelman portion of the batwing.

With the lift lights on, it makes me want April here right now! I know they are just lights but they look great and I can't wait to see them soon in person.

And in the station that is so sweet!!

That's not the station.

I believe that is the train storage shed.

Im referring to the turn between the 2nd vertical loop and the inline twist. There has been a cherry picker checking out that turn almost every other day since steel erection was complete.

Anyone live around the area that can get a decent shot of the lift hill lights on of these nights? it would be greatly appreciated!

While Google Earth updated the maps, it has not been updated on Google Maps on the web yet. It still has Son of Beast shown in the satellite version.

To bad the street view in Google maps isn't updated as well. You still see Son of Beast in the street view shots.

They could be touching up paint on the track there or checking bolts making sure they are tight. I'm sure everything is okay :)

They are graveling quite a few places under the track now.

It looks like they have a dump pile up by the entrance.

I apologize for going off subject here, but i could not find the appropriate topic. (Feel free to point me in the right direction). Canada's Wonderland recently posted a picture of what their new Backlot Stunt Coaster trains will look like. Kings Island is also revamping the trains on the same ride. Here's what Canada's Wonderlands BSC trains will look like.

EDIT: The trains will be red, white, and blue.

P.S. After reading the comments on the picture, some of the folks in Canada don't sound too happy about the colors of the trains.
