Where is everbody working?

Featured Replies

I know that a lot of employes frequent these boards. So, my question is, where is everbody working this season?

I will be working on Scooby-Doo and the Haunted Castle.

I'll be working at Rock Shop and Fudge and Fun (Formerly Coney Confections) for a 2nd year in a row this year. 3 years working for those who don't know. :P

I will be a Front Gate Sup this year for Merchandise, keeping watch over such wonderful locations like Spotlight Souvenirs, Gateway Gifts, and Stroller/ Wheelchair Rentals, with the occasional locker problem to deal with at Front Gate Lockers. It should be a fun year. :)

Food Service Support Staff supervisor. You'll see me walking around the park auditing all of our cashiers and "crew leaders" daily. If you get hired this summer in food you may just see me during your new food service associate orientation cause I do that too. Then again, if you work in food and you are caught stealing or never come to work you will definetly see me cause I will be getting rid of your sorry a**.

I was on Scooby Doo but then i got promoted... I have yet to hear where i am. I am still hoping it is SD!!!

This year i will be in games. I think it will be so much fun. I am doing Comp games.

Lets not even get going with the Zephyr song, we had the lyrics hanging up ehind Flight of Fears control booth last year.

"Fly away on my Zephyr. I feel it more then ever. And in this perfect weather. We'll find a place together. In the water where the scent of my emotion. All the world will pass me by Fly away on my Zephyr. We'll find a place together."

If you're spongebob dude, I'm sorry. I can no longer think of you as a man. Just kidding. Personally I hate spongebob. But its cool if you are going to be him. Yogi is waaayyy cooler though.

Trust me Jake, you'll be having more than the occasional locker problem.

Good luck, you will need it.

Thanks for the encouragement shadow. But hey, I am ready for it, I don't think front gate lockers will be anywhere near as rough as WW lockers, I have so many stories about those lockers, many good, some bad. And besides, our store should run perfectly this year, we have 3 wonderful sups (including moi), and our Location manager was at Spotlight/ Gateway two years ago (you can figure out who it is, she is the only member of the 2001 Spotlight who is still at the park) After pace of Waterworks, Spotlight will be a welcome change of pace. And if things do get rough, at least I can be consoled by the fact that now there is a phone in the stockroom. BTW- You'll like your sups as well shadow, they're all really nice.

A little off topic, but hey, how often posts are.

There is an old 2001 supe? Wonder who that is...? If it's who i think it is, I thought she left for good...

Is merch fun? what are the pros/cons? I'm just curious because of the time i've spent in retail, wondering if I want to stay in food or what.

Merch is a lot of funfor associates, you interact with the guests quite a bit, and often you get to be creative, say for instance, I want someone to fix up a gondola (display). All the supervisors are extremely nice as well, and you get some snazzy benefits too that other departments don't get. There is also the Merch Olympics, which is also fun for associates as well as myself. But, at least have a good work ethic, and desire to have fun, and be good with money, which I am sure you are, if you have been in food.

Shadow-- Without saying her name... she was the head supervisor of Candy last year, and an asst mgr of Spotlight two years ago, towards the end of the year. If I am thinking on the same wavelength as you, then yes, the people you are thinking of are gone.
