O.K. I was thinking illegal by state law. Thanks for clarifying. Technically it is illegal by Ohio State Law O.R.C 1711.551 states that guest are to follow safe conduct rules. Any guest in violation of posted or verbal saftey rules can be found guilty of a misdemeanor. Kings Island is very strict on camera policys. Other parks such as Holiday World have stated they will ban people breaking park rules reguardless of the park,including those who take cameras on rides without permission.

I remember the last time the cicadas came out, what a mess. They said for the most part the cicadas will stay within the 275 loop and west of 71, with a few around Kings Island.

Standing But Not Operating

Don't know if its the owner but someone by the name of Brenda Walker is in charge of park operations as she inherited the company after her husband passed away in 1997.

Scremin' Demon didnt have any problems, if it did i dont think another park would've bought it and reopened it. In fact Camden park boutgh the ride and named in Thunderbolt Express and reopened it the year after Kings Island closed it down and it was still operating until 1999 there where it is now SBNO. I think most people just didnt want to walk up the steps to the platform.
