BB Article in Business First
Well their jump in attendance probably first started with the addition of the waterpark. Which was before the two coasters were built. Could this "wrap around element, a typhoon twist and a free-fall drop at the end" be another fun slide from Proslide, the same company making our new slides? Sounds to me like a single rider, body slide "Bowl", similar to Tazmanian Typhoon. However this bowl is not at an angle but instead you slide in and drop out of the bottom into a pool.

What is going on for Beast 25 birthday
The biohazard symbol that you all keep refering to... Thats not it. Its a close representation of it, but its not the actual symbol. This is the actual biohazard symbol. Couldn't find the SOB symbol anywhere but the inner circle is replaced by three bars. The outer loops extend farther before they split and then don't slip as far. Hard to describe.

The Banana Splits in Hocus Pocus Park
Oh yes... without this ever happening Kings Island would have closed a long time ago...

What is going on for Beast 25 birthday
Why would they put tunnels on SOB when it is the Beast's anniversary.

What is going on for Beast 25 birthday
Of course there will be something special for enthusiasts , but the general public doesn't really care about anniversaries.

Winterfest Returning?
Now he never said specifically that it was coming back in 2004. He never even mentioned Winterfest... just the possibility of less of an off season. Take that as you may.

just wondering...
But I do believe... of course I heard.. that it wasn't. I know you people don't like to hear that.

Winterfest Returning?
Also on Nov 2, right before the final ride on The Beast... Jeff said that its sad to close down the park for the winter and see it closed until the spring... but "we're working on that".

just wondering...
You must not know business. Every project is given a budget. Or in order to build/buy things one must present what they want and why they want it. Basically what benefit the company will get out of investing their money in something. They won't just say yeah... we'll pay for BB to be built. They ask for quotes and budget this amount of money aside to pay for it. This bases the rest of the budget for the year in order to still make money. Paramount isn't going to want to pay more than they originally were quoted on unless it is absolutely needed to get the project done and opened on time, or close to it. Now the sign... it came down unexpectedly. There never was money set aside for the sign because no one knew they would have to build a new one. It wasn't insured since it wasn't likely they needed it. As far as I know they are still getting one and it is coming out of Kigns Island money, not so much as corporate money. Hard to imagine that since Kings Island money basically is corporate money. Anywho. We'll get out sign... even if it is just one of those portable ones with the flashing lights and the arrow on top. Like you see at a flea market.

COUNTDOWN!
Its a combination of no workers (cause they all are back in school) and no guests (cause they or their kids are back in school)

just wondering...
The sign is still currently just a small stump in the ground with a tarp over it like on closing day.

Just make sure I know far enough in advance... at least 24 hours.. or else I'm screwed.- Let it snow,@ PKI
Sorry, just had to comment on the Title.. "Major snow hits PKI, not much though" What the heck? How can you have a major snow, but not really?- PKI Newspaper Done
I wonder if we can get the park to let us try that? Only thing though... how can you have a time after it rains where it is not humid? Maybe days later, but not right after.- SADDAM HUSSEN CAPTURED
Wonderful.... Is he going to Kings Island for his final wish? Thanks for the update, but closed.- What Would you like to see next?
Its a concept... Not real yet.- B.B. Update
Haha.... what? You didn't see me there taking pictures while everyone was coming in for the slide show?- COUNTDOWN!
Get a job there and see if you like working for hours past midnight cleaning.- Cost of SOB
Well I have no idea what the cost is I do know that the whole 1999-2000 Action Zone retheming/new rides was about a $50million project. I think SOB was supposed to be roughly half of that but it ended up costing more for many reasons. I should have the article about the original Action Zone announcement in a file (shoebox) somewhere, but hard telling where. I may find it online.- COUNTDOWN!
