Wasn't there a teaser or poster during Winterfest that had something with 355 in it?

Since the old ones was rusted, couldn't they have just bought new ones? What was the company that made them?

I think once it gets warmer in the Spring and then Summer comes, International Street will look even more amazing, the flags are a nice touch, with I'm pretty sure more flowers being planted by the Royal Fountain. The tables with umbrellas look really nice, and very colorful!

Wasn't there an entire thread created to complain about the food, and Chad was asked about it in a video last season? lol. As if there is certain things you can complain about, then other things you aren't. I've seen posts from the GP online talking about the fountains, some in a good way, some not good. If you're in business serving the public, you can't make everyone happy.. After seeing more pictures and videos of the new Royal Fountain running more, I can now say I do like them nearly as much as the old pedestals.

A lot of you guys are right, the park is not done yet with the fountain, so to judge based on what it is now is not right. I think everybody wants the best for the park.. I can't wait to see what it looks like by Memorial Day, if its anything as superb as the rest of what they've done this year, my guess is we'll all be very happy.

The classic look is 100x better then what is there now. The Royal Fountain is a part of International Street, and it had its own character, the pedestals/water bowls was what made it give off that international feel, having a Las Vegas style fountain does not fit with what the Royal Fountain, and International Street as a whole is about. Now we have thanks to Paramount, they removed the Les Taxis classic car ride right behind the Eiffel Tower, and Cedar Fair removed the Royal Fountains pedestals in front of the Eiffel Tower, now the only thing giving off an international feel is the European style buildings, they got that part right, but now thanks to trying to be ‘modern’ is half of it is surrounded by less charm, and modern entertainment. Missed the mark by a mile!

I wouldn't call this something small. The Eiffel Tower and the Royal Fountain are the 2 most important things about Kings Island, it carries a lot of history and memories with it, if people get upset about it, that's why. Everything else they've done this year I'm very happy with though, but looking at the videos and pictures, RF doesn't have that same feel to it anymore, and that's pretty sad., Hope I'm wrong.

Does not look good imo. I haven't been there yet, but it looks dull. Should have kept the pedestals! This is a major downgrade (for the fountains anyway). It doesn't have that "I'm at Kings Island" feeling anymore. Might change my mind, after I see what it looks like with the fireworks show, but I doubt it.

I know the park is kinda busy right now, getting things ready for 2019 opening day, but is there anything left from King Cobra in the park? I heard there was some trains in the Flight of Fear building, I wonder if that's true?

What time does employees start showing up? And when do they turn the fountains on?

Yeah I think this is chain wide, maybe its more noticeable at Ki, because the park used to be more of a theme park then an amusement park. It probably also has to do with Matt Ouimet and his vision for Cedar Fair, and they're continuing his vision. I like it!!!!

This is really something! Stuff we’ve been talking about for years, hoping to see come back, is coming back! Thank you to everyone at KI for all you do!

I believe someone said the top observation deck, and the 50 ft observation deck was painted the last off season.

I hope they aren't taken out, they're iconic to the Royal Fountain, the park said they wanted to restore International Street to what it used to look like, removing them is the opposite of what they said... Sad to see them go if it is true.

I wonder if they're doing the area around the Eiffel Tower as well? Hope so!

I don't see the pedestals or water bowls anywhere.. Losing a part of IS history it looks like it.. Other then that, it looking nice.

The fountains at KD and CW look kind of boring to me, nothing to give it character. The pedestals do that at the KI fountains, and makes you feel like you at KI, fits perfectly for the theme of International Street.
