  1. What was the incident at Cedar Point? I don't remember hearing about that.
  2. ^If you knew the details about the incident that I do, then you would agree that Fisher needed to be subdued in anyway possible.
  3. ^ Maybe we will see another big butter Jesus except it will be along I-275 now
  4. I had an explanation on what really happened. I took it off the board since this investigation is still open. Lets just say that Fisher got what was coming to him because of his actions.
  5. ^ It used to be if someone had a violation like this, the employee would be subject to a written warning. I can't tell you how many employees have left knees on the wrong side of the lap bar at SOB. Hundreds probably. No one gets fired right away without doing something really stupid. Like everyone else has said, there is obviously some information missing here that Fisher doesn't want to come forward with. Perhaps this was a 2nd or 3rd incident that this happened to him. Maybe he denied his responsiblilty in the incident which caused him to become irate and walk off the ride. As far as the confrontation with the police, there is no way that is how it went down. I am sure that Fisher was shooting his mouth off like Dane said and park police were called to escort him out. There was probably struggle at some point and he had to get sprayed. He probably wasn't allowed to call his mother because of the altercation and would have gotten the chance when he was booked at a local department. It's a situation like this that I wish that KI's park police had tazers because Fisher sounds like he deserved to be tazed in this case.
  6. I am still trying to figure out this comment: "Son of Beast sent a bunch of people to the hospital a few weeks before and is still under investigation" At first I thought maybe he was there last July when the incident happened, but later he talks about Firehawk being down.
  7. It's actually 1 minute 23 seconds between a train leaving the station and clearing lift 1. Ah yes power hours were a blast, especially striving to get 60+ cycles on IJST. Remember those Nick?
  8. When I worked there we ran 3 trains and we easily got 40+ trains sometimes even 45+ trains out an hour(that's not even the record, which I also set with my first class crews I had working for me there). So yes it is possible
  9. ^I like your thinking though. Not many people can complain about working a second hour at the position when you have worked 13 hours at it.
  10. I believe it. Believe me when you work at a ride long enough, you want to be remembered for something. I'm mainly remembered for... other things... Captin Nemo once rode Tomb Raider 34 times in a row. I once checked bars at Tomb Raider for 13 hours straight (open to close). That was mainly just so I could say I did. That way when ever a crew member would complain about being on bars for 2 hours I would just say: Look, if I can do it for 13 hours, you can do it for 2! I always thought that checking bars was more fun then anything else at TR
  11. Your going to have to ride AE a lot more times than that in order to beat my record on there.
  12. The park didn't have winterfest last year
  13. Oh jeez I can see it now. The next time there is a power outage at the park, someone will post... "We need to take out Eurobungee because it caused a brown out at the park."
  14. Agreed. The initial question was answered, and this topic is getting way off course.
  15. When it comes to TRTR, you can consider DeLorean Rider an expert. Just read his signature if you have any doubts.
  16. It's ok everyone....he heard it on the television...it must be right.
  17. It used to be that you had to go in HR and fill out a form to get your money back for your season pass. Try stopping into the HR office on your way on or out of work to take care of this.
  18. Defined - "I heard from this guy in line whose brother works with this girls best friend's cousin who is the daughter in law of the brother of a guy who works in security."
  19. Welcome to the board!! You will not find more information on KI anywhere else in the world then this site. Feel free to ask any questions that you might have. Chances are someone on here knows the answer since a lot of the members are past/present employees(like myself).
  20. I don't think you picked up on the interpreters sarcasm there.
  21. ^Let's say for one second (and one second only) that your prediction comes true and they build a Rivertown entrance and parking lot. You can expect to pay at least $15-$20 to park and will see an increase in admission to cover excess costs
  22. You bring up a good point with the river flooding. This happens frequently to this river at this location. I don't think KI wants to put up with the same headaches that Coney puts up with.
  23. ^Yes the ravine would be a bit challenging not to mention that Rivertown is over a half a mile away from the river. That's a lot of expansion room. I don't see that one happening anytime soon.
