2018 Construction in Coney Mall
I'd rather have the new smokehouse, If I can get the amazing food I had in Soak City this year inside the park without having to go to Soak City (I don't normally do waterparks unless someone in the party wants to, which is almost never), then it's a win in my book!

Six Flags and Apollo interested in SeaWorld
Palace Entertainment sounds like an interesting move? I thought they were for sale? That's one thing I never quite understood from a few days ago..

Great interview!

Does KI compete with area parks?
I think Kentucky Kingdom is competing with Kings Island, but as said Kings Island is so much bigger than Kentucky Kingdom, I think Kentucky Kingdom is more of a local amusement park, while Kings Island is more well known. I do think Kentucky Kingdom competes more with Holiday World, when I was there Sunday, there was a Thunderbird ad clearly visible from Storm Chaser!

Richard Zimmerman named new CEO for Cedar Fair
This move is interesting, I really like what they have done with Mystic Timbers, I like the idea of themeing rides that are not IPs and are the parks own rights, but as @chugh43 said, I'm not sure about how I feel about a Paramount general manager coming in, I'm hoping he stays away from trying to bring outside IPs into the parks (there's no indication he will or won't, just thoughts.) I'd be down for more themed experiences and attractions though, I don't think anything will change that much or that dramatically. Also, I'll second this.

Is this Kings Islands 2018 ride?
Kings Island's 17th roller coaster! I can't wait! Yes, Skyline Attractions confirmed this is a credit!

Which RMC?
I know Lightning Rod didn't work out... but if another company built that launch...

Another incident involoving Dragster!
People are saying it'll be closed until the end of the season, I very much doubt that, as TTD employees are all still scheduled to be at TTD Friday, I don't think it'll be up that soon, but they have not moved them so there's a chance.

Closure of Dinosaurs Alive and opening of lots of land.
I talked to a few people about this unrealistic idea, I really like what Liseberg has been doing with their new Myths and Legends area, I want one of those! It won't happen but it's a cool thought!

Closure of Dinosaurs Alive and opening of lots of land.
Kings Island will never be Cedar Point.

Closure of Dinosaurs Alive and opening of lots of land.
My heart says giga, but I really want a new area or new X-base expansion for 2019-2020, maybe some flat rides plus a huge new coaster, I'm curious to see how Hangtime will work out at Knotts, I think something like The Smiler with lapbars would be amazing, either that or a Mack Megacoaster, or an Intamin Blitz.

2018 Construction in Coney Mall
I'm really hoping for that new Smokehouse! I hate going all the way into Soak City just to eat!

Haunt
Yeah... I wouldn't bring any little kids to haunt...

The Giga Speculation Thread
The trim was turned off since becoming Rougarou.

All Season Fast Lane Available at Kings Island in 2018
All season Fast Lane is an awful idea to me, but it can be done correctly if you don't sell too many, I'm thinking about 500 or so.

The Giga Speculation Thread
Rougarou is a great ride in the back and only the back, same goes for Vortex.

Annual Pride Event
Thinking about going, are tickets still for sale?

SIX Flags 2018 Announcement Video
I have to say, really strong year for Six Flags, curious on the prototypes by ABC Rides but they should be great, I woke up at four for Jim Reid Anderson, not the announcement, I lost it when they announced SFSTL and he was being chased by a tornado on his bike!

Pop music back on International Street
I'd never go out of my way for Michigan's Adventure again, but I know I had a pretty enjoyable time, especially with the airtime on Shivering Timbers!

Pop music back on International Street
eh... not a big deal, at least for me, though why pop? Get some real music playing (Lincoln Park!) though, it is better than Geauga Lake's front gate soundtrack now..

"The Ledge" Trademarked by Cedar Fair
I mean parks not named Cedar Point, I get the marketing aspect of it, easy to market, especially the first drop, but dive coasters don't do much for me personally, I go to Cedar Point at least a few times a month, and I've ridden Valravn 3 times, one opening weekend, and the other two during a commercial shoot last year.

"The Ledge" Trademarked by Cedar Fair
Late to this topic, but Hangtime will always be known to me as "The Ledge" as to me, it fits way more than Hangtime. I'd love to see them reuse that name at some point, but I don't really want a dive coaster at Kings Island or any of the bigger Cedar Fair parks.
