Decoding Episode II: Rivertown 2017 and the Falling Trees
^^ It's not like the park already has a multi-launch family coaster with a car theme and special effects. Oh wait....

Decoding Episode II: Rivertown 2017 and the Falling Trees
How about Lumberjack-themed Mack water coaster with a dark ride section? I think I'm half joking.

Why would there be a fully-poured footer in the middle of an un-cleared area?

I think he meant that cylinder thing next to the railroad, but it looks far too small for a B&M. Edit: ^ Beat me to it.

Decoding Episode II: Rivertown 2017 and the Falling Trees
^^ Since Carowinds is my home park, I remember seeing markings as early as summer of 2013. But that could've been due to the new parking lot/toll entrance. The Leviathan build thread might be your best bet, though I personally think this will be a GCI.

When did footers for Goldstriker start showing up?

Decoding Episode II: Rivertown 2017 and the Falling Trees
I don't see any survey markers. Maybe it is for a flat ride (or two).

Everyone remember when Greg Scheid teased the 2017 announcement in August? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FOc28epu_Ec Why does it sound like he said "ro" at 0:50?

Six Flags Haiyan
I could actually see this happening considering the success other companies have had building in China.

Kentucky Kingdom
Speaking of humor, I find this whole situation hilarious. I'm also scared that I will be turned away from visiting for posting this.

Can someone fill me in on why KICentral members would be turned away from the entrance?

Cedar Fair's Future in Dark Rides
I think they may have skipped a year because they could be planning multiple dark rides at a time for 2017. You know, I'd love to see a Devin Olson documentary about a Triotech.

Carowinds will be investing $50 million in the next three years!
But why take your anger out solely on Cedar Fair? If anything, they did more work to the ride than any of the past owners. They'd been retracking the ride since 2008. Something tells me Thunder Road was doomed before the Kinzels got their hands on the park.

kinda feel the same way, when i went this year, Thunder Road was running GREAT not rough, i was confused why they would remove one of the best coasters in the park Structural issues. Apparently it needed to have the entire lift hill rebuilt along with some of the ending track and the cost exceeded what they were willing to pay for it.

Hopefully it's Nighthawk. It's low capacity, it's a maintenance nightmare, and it sits on a ton of land smack in the middle of the park. Sure, this description fits a lot of coasters, but unlike Nighthawk, they tend to be enjoyable (and made by Intamin).

Mike Fehnel back to Dorney
It's Brad Marcy, Dorney's most recent GM.

I saw a picture of Storm Chaser's station and I'm a bit ashamed to admit this, but I LOVE the way it looks. It might have something to do with the architecture itself rather than the color scheme, but I think it actually looks really nice.

Carowinds adding Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare: 3Z Arena in 2016
Looks like there's a top scan coming to the park as well. I don't think I have permission to post the pictures here, but if you want to see: http://carowindsconnection.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=4522

I heard management at MiA had a falling out with Chance, so I wouldn't count on it.

Confirmed- Ghostriders new trains
Anyone know if the Millennium Flyers are planned for Timberwolf? I know GCI has been reworking that coaster as well.

Isn't Spider-Man already Journey Through New York?

What about Drachen Fire? Sure, it's defunct, but technically Storm Chaser is just the only coaster with a barrel roll drop in the U.S., not the first ever.

Completely worth it.

I'm just sad it wasn't a deer.
