This would be my exact pick too

Kings Island Haunt 2021
I agree. I’d keep It for Winterfest as well to add to the lineup.

Was Son of Beast loosely based off of Rosemary's Baby?
They definitely had lots of potential for theming opportunities but most were just names slapped on generic rides. The extended queue for Top Gun was nice but Tomb Raider was definitely their best. When it first opened the theming was top notch and really immersed you into the ride and story. I was blown away by the theming and details the first time I went on it.

Velocicoaster, Best in the world?
It looks great and the theming in the first half is top notch. my one hope though is that the speed gets increased some for opening. It seems to go very slow over a lot of the hills in the first half. Could make some good hangtime but i prefer quick transitions to that.

What could be the next KI new coaster?
This is what I would love to see replace Vortex for Coney Mall. They are usually small foot prints too so Feel like they could split Vortex's plot to that for CM and the rest for Rivertown for a new attraction

Rivertown expansion concept
I have envisioned an expansion utilizing the area back near Beast's station. I like the idea of the mining activity, and I've always wanted a Screamin' Swing to go where the Crypt was. Tear down the show building but leave the queue intact just rethemed as a mine. I would also move the petting zoo back to that area as well themed to a farm like Cedar Point's. As much as I like Slaughterhouse I would probably reuse that space for part of this too. I'm a bit mixed on the coaster addition though. I would utilize part of the space and expand the building to wrap around more. i would build a dark ride or indoor themed ride (something more simple like a saloon themed Madhouse or Western motion simulator. Have the queue start with a themed entrance by the arcade and exit out next to La Rosa's in a new gift shop so will expand the themed building front there by 50% or more.

What could be the next KI new coaster?
Paramount seemed to feel there was one when they built Tomb Raider. Always felt out of place and don't want to see jungle/rainforest in Rivertown.

Area 72 expansion concept
Would like to see the area expanded upon but wouldn't want to see it take over the AE space. Oktoberfest needs expansion badly too so taking away from it for another area that has other possibilities for growth wouldn't be my choice. The first thing I'd do for A72 would be to utilize the area shown for flat rides to put in a new flat and relocate Slingshot next to it. This would give the area two new attractions from the get go and open up space in Oktoberfest for another new flat.

Rivertown expansion concept
I would like to see some upgrades and enhancements to WWC but I don't want to see it get a big lift and drop like MRF. Ithink it would hurt the immersion in the forest for it. Mystic Timbers has already cut into the area a bit. Would like to see more theming to tie in with the Mystic Timbers story added along the course and some fog or other effects added (misters back in the tunnels maybe) but overall I think it's a great rapids ride and wouldn't want to change it too much

What could be the next KI new coaster?
I could see a dive coaster come but I would like to see a multi-launch, especailly if it's an intense snappy one like Maverick. Another possibility that I could see as well that might be more budget conscious would be a Gerstlauer Infinity coaster. I think it would be a great fit for part of Vortex's old plot and they've already worked with them on it before at Knott's so just as likely as a Mack multi-launch. With the cost of Mack adn B&M I could see a big but cheaper coaster for the next major one.

Your top 5 rides at KI?
1. Diamondback 2. Mystic Timbers 3. Beast 4. Banshee 5. Delirium Note: I have not ridden Orion yet so it coudl likely bump Delirium off the list. HM: tough choices to Drop Tower and AE as well Previous rides of Tomb Raider (original version) and Phantom Theatre would have been on here as well.

Theming older coasters
Would be happy to see any of these get some theming to them. Diamondback and Bat really don't have much of any. However, I selected Adventure Express because the theming I think would have the most impact. Diamondback and Bat would mostly just be a themed station and queue like Banshee and Orion. Whereas Adventure Express has theming along the entire ride to really improve the ride experience from queue to exit. I'd be happy to just see all the original effects fixed and put back in and turned on. But I would love to see it get rethemed to fit better into Oktoberfest and theme it as a trip through the Black Forest. Be similar to Verbolten at Busch Gardens.

Ferris Wheel
I think a big wheel in Planet Snoopy could be good. The height would be thrilling for kids but it's a mild ride still that's fit for families. Plus it would give another tall point to that side of the park as aside from the peak of Diamondback (which is a little bit away still) that are is relatively flat in comparison with the kids rides, log flume, etc. So it would balance the skyline more. I think one on International Street would impede the appearance o that area and the Eiffel Tower a bit. Coney Mall could be a good fit too but not sure where exactly to put it and there are already lots of tall rides on that side.

Orion VS Mystic Timbers: Which Coaster Has The Best Overall Theming?
I agree. Orion's surrounding area and queue, especially with Area 72 (the news truck, crater, etc. Plus Flight of Fear's hangar building also acting as a thematic element) is all great and probably the best theming I've seen or a giga. But the focus on the ride itself is just the ride. Mystic Timbers is themed from the moment you reach the entrance tot he queue until you leave the exit path. It has the surrounding area with the woods (that covers the entire ride), heavily themed queue, station, and more just like Orion, but it goes a step further. The trains themselves themed to trucks, the audio on the lift hill and final brake run, the shed (even if many think it was overhyped and lacking it is still a large thematic piece), along with some theming from it expanding throughout Rivertown with the vines in the queues for Beast and WWC.

What new attraction would make the best sense for KI?
Love for it to keep a mine theme but think either of those would be good additions for the old Tomb Raider building. Love to see a flying theatre but not sure what theme they’d use in that location. Maybe a madhouse there with a haunted mine theme and a flying theatre around Internstional Street or Coney Mall

What new attraction would make the best sense for KI?
I like the second idea better too as it leaves some room to add another flat at least to Coney Mall to fill out that end of the path. I'd prefer a coaster to go more to Coney Mall than Rivertown though. Think something like Hangtime would be great and can still leave some room for an addition in Rivertown too as they are more compact. My only hesitance for it would be building into the woods would thin trees out more and hate to see more removed and it would probably open up the woods around The Beast too much. Don't want it to lose it's secluded feeling. I'd also keep the space of Action Theatre for a new darkride too.

What new attraction would make the best sense for KI?
I agree with most of the sentiments stated here. An RMC would be my choice for a good ejector, intense, inverting ride. But I don't see it right now. B&Ms and Mack multi-launches are expensive so following covid I imagine they will go for something more price concious next. I could potentially see a spinner as it would be a great family friendly addition, possibly as a new expansion/revamp of Planet Snoopy. Could go around where the petting zoo currently is.

Vortex's Replacement?
I agree. I'd love to see a Mack multi-launch/Intamin blitz style coaster as I love them, but I think a Gerstlauer infinity coaster would be the best fit. It matches the boarwalk style feel of the section and can pack in the inversions to truly replace Vortex too. Plus as mentioned having a compact foot print can allow other attractions in that area as well, whether Coney or Rivertown.

What is the worst roller coaster you've ever ridden?
I'm sure there are worse ones out there but seem to have been pretty lucky with experiences overall. T3 is probably mine though. Could not wait to get off that coaster when I rode it. It's been the only one I can think of that I have no desire to ride again. My last ride on Mean Streak shortly before it closed to make way for Steel Vengeance was pretty rough, but I would probably have still ridden it again on my next trip there still. Don't think I'll ever ride T3 again.

Adding theming to White Water Canyon?
That’s what I envision too. Nothing extreme like Knott’s. Some static scenery in spots and lights on the trees that mimic the concept art for MT. Then sounds or something to give the concept of something in the woods. Basically just something showing an idea of logging and nature fighting back.
-
Adding theming to White Water Canyon?
Before Mystic Timbers I'd agree but wouldn't mind seeing some story additions to it. I don't think it needs huge stuff but just some small bits to add some story elements from MT to it. With the rides intertwined so much it would work well. It's still nice being separated from the main part of the park with it but it doesn't have the same feeling of seclusion anymore. I miss the queue walk through the woods and being completely separated form the rest of the park and not emerging back until you get off the exit path. With the coaster crossing over it throughout the course and more trees removed it's lost the seclusion. So I think building up the storyline more would be nice.

Camp Snoopy?
I would love to see this as I think the Camp Snoopy theme looks a lot better at the parks and more trees would be great. Plus as others said it is a better transition into Rivertown. I do like the idea of a camp theme dark ride for Boo Blasters. Always pictured something with the holidays as those specials are what they're really known for but the camping theme would fit the camp idea better. I would also remove the stage and petting zoo (relocated to a Rivertown expansion for a small farm area) area to open up a large chunk of land for new additions. New rides I would put would be a large gondola ferris wheel (as many people seem to want one) where the theatre was facing towards IS to give great views of the park, a teacups style ride like Valleyfair's Woodstock's Whirlybirds, and then a new larger scale family coaster like Kentucky Flyer or Dragonflier. This could fit with the station in the petting zoo area and then utilizing that area there as well as going down along the side of the picnic grove towards the train tracks. Other rides could be replaced/updated to something new, for instance change Snoopy's Junction to something like Black Bear Trail from Dollywood (this could also be done in place of the new coaster as well to keep costs down some). I think most of what the have still works fine though but not sure there is a lot more land to expand with.

Could a 3rd drop ride exist at KI?
They could add one and I think it would be a different enough experience from Drop Tower. However, I'd much rather see them expand their collection of flat rides more first before adding another tower ride. I don't feel this is really necessary.

What area in Kings Island needs the most care right now?
This is what I would do with it as well. Feel like a Black Forest/dark forest goes well with Bat and Banshee as well. A simple re-theme for the other rides would be good and plant a bunch of trees to give more of a forest vibe. I would add an ivy tunnel between the two to bring it back and help with the transition between the two areas. I would also spruce up Oktoberfest as well. Move or remove Slingshot to open space for a small flat (Der Spinning Keggers or a Skywarp ride for a modern Bayern Kurve) and retheme Adventure Express to the Black Forest. I would take out Invertigo and Congo Falls and Timberwolf if possible. A new RMC and a Mack water coaster would be my main additions, and another flat ride around SoB's old station to give something else on the long path back to The Bat. Probably do a new style Enterprise or a Top Scan themed to a windmill. Last addition would be more for Coney Mall but add a Skyride that has a station in Oktoberfest with the ladder game space utilized for a queue and the station above the marketplace there. Hank's and Marketplace would get a Bavarian exterior to match. I always thought this would be a great addition. Would keep a fun thrilling coaster experience along with the water ride. Plus something like Poseidon or Storm Force would be fun and easy to add some simple but effective theming to whatever theme they wanted to do for Action Zone

Nigloland Announces New Water Coaster
Looks short but fun. If they wanted to keep the overall experience of a water ride but newer, and better fit for the area, I always thought something like this would make a good replacement for Congo Falls.
