  1. It was mentioned in the fine print that the KK season pass was not valid for parking during the Kentucky State Fair. I can see this angering people who just looked and saw "free parking" but didn't read the details.
  2. Believe it or not, we had stuff that took it off. We used it maybe once a month and even with the repeated warnings/removal from park, people still thought that was "cool" for whatever reason.
  3. Don't know if anyone has looked at their Facebook, one of the previously unannounced attractions was revealed. Get ready for the thrill of a lifetime on a Zamperla Samba Tower!
  4. Sorry for the lack of judgement I showed in the previous few post on this thread. I was at that time in a down slope of life and let things that had nothing to do with the situation take blame. I have gone back and edited the post. I feel that I have purged all the negative things out of my life and feel much better now. I don't know what I was thinking. All I can say is that it is good to be back!
  5. Maybe I should use discretion...
  6. Hmm well I've decided not to return to the park this year due to some disagreement with with my boss -edit-
  7. ^ the weight drop was one of the largest reasons it was gotten rid of. As the weight fell, there was supposed to be a pocket of air underneath the weight to help slow it down instead of slamming into the bottom of the support tower. This was not happening and the weight was falling with the full force of gravity, damaging inner components of the launch system.
  8. ^neither were very forgiving with their brakes it was almost like getting into a car accident every time at the end of the ride.
  9. I went inside the Kingdom the other day and wanted to see T3 up close. In all honesty the red gives it a refreshed new feeling. Felt like going back to 1998 (even though I was 2 at the time). I have a really good picture, but under contract, I cannot share it until April 14th.
  10. I mean they have the not so eternal flame that ran out of fuel and wasn't refilled with the logo and 2000-2009 at the entrance of Banshee.
  11. Yes, it made good money with plenty of hours. Shockingly, this was still not enough initiative to some employees to be reliable. I am starting my recruitment early to try and find people who actually want to make that a friendly environment.
  12. If anyone on here lives in or near Louisville and would like a job at Kentucky Kingdom let me know! I can almost guarantee you a job in the rides department. Consistent with the reviews we get (rides department has the highest marks of all departments) Mr. Hart has little to no interaction with us if that persuades you any. Starting pay last year was $8.50 and I would imagine it would be similar or the same this year. Just let me know!
  13. Well that's great to hear! It's even better knowing the employee was not in my section of the park. The employees in the section of the park where Breakdance was were kind of comparable to a Huss rides creation. Some of them were hard reliable workers while others had no buissness interacting with guest.
  14. Well at least my department was shining. Do you remember which ride this was on?
  15. I feel sorry for whoever has to operate Snoopys Space Junction. I'm assuming it is the same ride as Jump Around at Kentucky Kingdom. I can sincerely say that Jump Around was the one ride in that park that I actually HATED operating. When you go to check the seatbelts you hit your shins on the large step up platforms. The ride itself is very boring and there is not much fun you can have with it lol. Oh and a task for you all. As someone who has operated Larson Scooters (Professor Johns) there is a speed control on it. If it wasn't windy I would sometimes give guest a faster rotation.
  16. So in other words there are only two slides on that complex that have a tube restriction on then and it's the orange/yellow slides other slides at Wakiwaki wai accept double tubes so does Mega Wedgie. Tornado and Summit Plummit or Plunmit Summit (I can never remember which one is KK and which one is WDW) has a specialized tube that go up conveyor.
  17. There are only two types of tubes in that park not counting the Tornado's double or quadruple tube. On Mt. Slide Hai there are yellow single tubes and green double tubes. The ONLY slide the green double tube is to be used on is the green open slide on the complex. Other than that every other slide is universal in the "correct tube" it can use excluding Tornado which requires the double or quad tube. So I'm doubting the "wrong tube" will hold water.
  18. That was my favorite part though.
  19. One effect that has left the Holiday World model was when you enter the kitchen, it no longer smells like pie.
  20. But for now... Are ya Ready? Grab your Boo Blaster and aim for the lighted target.
  21. I mean... It looks better than faded black/grey whatever that is...
