And yet a place like Canada's Wonderland didn't take away any Winterfest when the Halloween stuff was extended another weekend...and their Winterfest goes another weekend than ours does....(yeah I know about the permits expiring 12/31)....

The last few days, the forum seems to take forever to load and switch between sections and see posts, etc. It happens on both computer and mobile device. Anyone else having a problem?

Same can be said when Maverick and Mystic Timbers was announced....and many people will now say those are incredible coasters in their respective park...

Or this when there are literally 4 trash cans within 20 feet

The park updated the website to show this additional Haunt weekend, but.... Just like that, the park silently took away Winterfest opening the weekend before Thanksgiving and now opens Thanksgiving weekend. That is why they say on that page: "Operating dates and times are subject to change without notice. Please revisit this information prior to planning your visit."

The WXIX article had been updated and they added a date reference that now just makes the article look dated lol: The changes came into effect on May 4 after multiple “unruly” incidents occurred at Kings Island involving juveniles in the past. CORRECTION: An earlier version of this story incorrectly stated park guests 15 years old and younger should be accompanied by a chaperone at all times while in the park. Kings Island management says a chaperone must accompany anyone 15 or younger into the park and 1. Remain in the park while their juvenile party is here and 2. be available to their group via phone throughout the day.

As i said earlier, I believe it is an old article that got an updated published date from an old version of the policy before it was implemented. Check out my 2nd post above that is a screenshot from earlier today and compare it to a not even 3 hours later screenshot and now they added "Last updated 5/4/24" that was not there just a few hours ago. I believe this is in response to this article and shows that the requirement to stay with is not accurate.

And yet on the KI web page it doesn't show that....is it an old article that didn't get updated but the "publish" date did?

It is supposed to only work at "home" park (whichever park the "base" gold or prestige is bought from).

Nope, we start Winterfest the weekend before Thanksgiving (first time since 2019)...unless they decide to yank it by giving an extra week of Haunt. Thus why @brenthodge points out they now have even less time (only two full weeks) between Haunt to Winterfest and he questions will we get more WF decorations up during Haunt or will they scale back Winterfest, or do they hire mega crews to come in and turn the decorations over in two weeks... Now they just need to get the website calendar to match the posters in the park:

Do you only have a Six flags pass and not a pass to a Cedar Fair park....you missed my point...and we are talking about in 2025 not 2024... In case I wasn't clear, someone will buy a legacy Cedar Fair pass for 2025 and go to a Six flags legacy park expecting their add-ons to work and they won't (and vice versa) because they either didnt read the fine print and/or forgot....

How many will miss that fine print about the add-ons and go to the other chain park and be expecting food and drink...
