From the press release on TT2 - Top Thrill 2 will not reopen in 2024 and we anticipate a 2025 reopening. The key word is anticipate What other ride announcement uses the word anticipate to describe when it is opening? Doesn't instill confidence to me that they are confident it will open... Siren's Curse says Siren's Curse is set to lure its riders in 2025. Not anticipate, not maybe, not probably, but it is set to lure its riders in 2025. I guess one could argue set is ambiguous as well LOL. So they wanted to have a new attraction in the event the TT2 anticipate turns into "not opening".... Either that or take a page out of the KI playback and run one of their racing trains backwards And yeah, I know all about how long it takes to plan a capital improvement and blah, blah, blah, but if you got a design sitting on the shelf (or a stock model that can be bough quickly) and a piece of land to put it on and a to-date failure of a re-imagined ride, that is how things like this (and to some extent Adventure Port) happened.... If TT2 was open all year, what is the likelihood they get this coaster? And then if for some reason they are able to make TT2 reliable and open, it is an added bonus for the park...

If they cough up enough cash they can have any IP they want. I am sure SIX is using any IP they have paid for.

I have said it before and I will say it again lol, but I personally feel other CF parks have a better kids area than ours. Families I know that hit that demographic all say Carowinds and KD and Wonderland all all better kids areas. Heck some even say CPs is better. More shade, more things to do, etc. But like everything in these Awards, it is opinion and personal feelings (and maybe some other factors ...) more than facts...

Well the regions largest Starbucks is on one side of the fountain, so maybe in line with all the alcohol additions recently, the Boo Blasters space will be converted to the largest Party Source.

It sounds like they were hitting the fence around the ride and hit the umbrella for the associate as the rotation didn't slow. Sounds like maybe an error in the estop to allow it to continue to spin full speed while the ride lowered? How often do they test that and is the normal operation when it is hit? On the flip side, if the estop completely stopped the rotation, many of the riders would have slammed together and I could see certain body dimensions where the momentum of the swing would stop and their upper body continue and potentially be tossed from the ride. 2nd accident in as many months on similar rides, rip them out I am sure someone is saying somewhere...

The past hour or so it has returned to normal speeds. Fingers crossed it stays like that!
