Is it possible to give it the sky screamer treatment and just change the seating? That's what I'd do.

I was having my usual KI debate with a good friend of mine about Kings Island. He brought up the topic of the excessive land the park has and how much of it will be used in future years. I said that Kings Island didn't really need to do anything with that land because S.O.B was going bye bye but he still wasn't convinced. So i took it upon myself to go onto google maps and "estimate" how much land we actually have and how much of it will be used. Will all of this land be covered with rides and attractions in years to come or is my friend just not the brightest star in the sky? (Forgive me, it is not completely accurate)

Or will we? Anything is possible my friends. Well, almost anything......

I don't think Cedar Fair really acknowledged KI's 40th anniversary in my opinion. Oh sure, they had new shows and a new logo as well as ride changes for the year but I believe the changes made this year still would have been made even if this wasn't KI's 40th season.

Many schools have many different entrances. Even if there was one entrance that entered through an office do you really think that is going to stop a crazed student with a gun? My high school was one of the ones that said to sit in the corner with the lights off until help arrives. Little did they know that if a real emergency did happen I was getting my girlfriend and I the hell out of the building. Grab a fire extinguisher while your at it

plus we have 2 cops there 24/7 to ensure our safety. Now back to Kings Island....

The main entrance is in the front of the school where the lobby is and the attendance office is right next to the lobby. There are glass windows in the attendance office has glass windows outside the lobby so they can see anything in the lobby. Also, the main doors are open from i believe 7 to 7:40 then they lock them. The only way to get in then is through the attendance office door which has a buzzer.

Today for about ten minutes out of the bell, our teachers told us our safety procedures if some armed person or stranger entered the building. We were told the usual sit in the corner routine but this time we were told that if someone entered the room, we had to throw stuff at them and try to subdue them or'tranquilize" them. That got me thinking. Since the metal detectors are gone I got to thinking of safety threats at Kings Island and the procedures that the guests would have to be safe. Even though there is an increase in security, there's always a threat. What safety procedures can you guys come up with if Kings Island, God forbid, ever had an armed intruder(s) arrive at the park?

I don't want KI to get a new gate. However, if they did, they should give it an "Ohio" theme or something along those lines. Or even something to resemble Coney Island due to the fact that Coney was the reason for KI's existence. Coney Mall doesn't really represent Coney Island anymore in my opinion.

It will be. I went last year and the weather was freezing but regardless people still went and it was still packed. now that the weather's nice there will be more guests. For me, I'll be at a Friday Football game
