  1. I'm sure it's frequently been used for track inspections in the mornings.
  2. Millennium Force and Magnum.
  3. Your act is getting stale. You've said it more than enough. I won't listen to you anymore about Intamin superiority, nor will you listen to any kind of reasoning I try to give you. Stop. Please.
  4. It's bad to play it safe by over-engineering restraints? Friction brakes are a bad thing? A bad control panel means it's an awful ride?I've learned a lot today.
  5. Ride Volcano and I305--providing they're open--as early as possible. Lines build up for those extremely quick.
  6. And more importantly, what may be a big issue to you may not be as big an issue for the park. They have to worry about keeping their star attractions operating at tip top shape for the entire operating season. They have payroll to worry about. I'm pretty sure a clock and some Christmas lights are the least of management's concerns.
  7. Be careful with this. Apocalypse and Goliath are also B&M coasters.
  8. Great report. BGW is one of my favorite parks of all time and I need to get back there soon.
  9. Wasn't the invert an slc though?
  10. Thanks for the report! Sounds like you had a good time. I can't wait to get up to Haunt this year.
  11. *Insert the inevitable YoungStud post about all the Intamins* There. I saved you a post.
  12. I remember I rode Scrambler and Viking Fury during Haunt last year. Scrambler's line doesn't interfere with the queue for DDD, as that is located in the small pavilion behind the carousel. Viking Fury's line was rerouted so its exit wouldn't have to be used for Cut Throat Cove. CTC is no longer here anymore, so that shouldn't be an issue. Have fun, rcs!
  13. Intimidator at Carowinds has a racing theme...
  14. Or Congo Falls?
  15. Wow. Haunt is going to be great this year! Board to Death looks awesome. I can't wait to see what they do with the chess set and Mouse Trap.
  16. Lol OOPS. Somehow completely skipped over his post. :/
  17. This looks like it will be a great year for Haunt!
  18. Please list every park with a Texas Giant that isn't Six Flags Over Texas. Drop Tower, Fight Deck, WindSeeker, Vortex, Eiffel Tower, The Crypt... Your turn... Besides WindSeeker, not any of those other rides were built during Cedar Fair ownership.Cedar Fair did have a say in what they could call their rides. They, of course, chose to use bland chain-wide names.
  19. Just stop. Shoot the Rapids will reopen if Matt Ouimet, Intamin, the State of Ohio, Cedar Fair, and others can make it happen.
  20. If Paramount still owned the park I'm not sure we would have a Kings Island to go to. Also, hasn't this been done before?
  21. ^I agree with your point about WindSeeker. Literally every time without fail that crew since its inception has been very sluggish. It's no doubt a hard ride to operate, but you'd think with that many associates on the floor you'd be able to get good dispatch intervals.
  22. ^^Ugh. Are they ever going to retire that front gate prop?
  23. Then what was Son of Beast's second drop for (after the chain lift but before the big drop)? Or Camden Park's Big Dipper's pre-drop? Terp, who likes to ask questions. I was under the impression those were anti-rollbacks put in place to prevent a valley in between the lift and large drop should a train not have enough momentum or weight to make it through.
  24. This post made me even more confused than your first.
