Cedar Point/Six Flags Great America questions
I've been to both and both parks are great (though Cedar Point's a bit better). I'm sure you'll have fun either way. If you do end up going to Six Flags, try Viper (it's their wooden coaster) and Revolution (a Delirium-like spinning ride). Also, make sure you get to Great America early as crowds are very light in the morning (at least they were when I went).

Who Do You Like to Ride With?
I typically ride by myself, but if I'm with friends (or KIC members) I'll ride with them.

What is your Flight of Fear Expirience?
Well, I think Flight of Fear is awesome and is always a great ride. This past season, I actually closed my eyes on FoF to try to experince what it must have been like when the main part of the ride building was pitch black. It was pretty crazy. I also like the line video, the saucer and all the retro computers and other technology. Basically, I think the whole experince is pretty cool. EDIT: I do actually remember my first ride was on a limited operation day, so FoF was one of the only "big" rides open. I was scared (as I'd never been on an indoor coaster before), but I enjoyed it.

Son of Beast History Book
This sounds like a great idea. Maybe there could be a section that shares stories about people's experiences on Son of Beast. These stories might also serve as introductions to different chapters or sections of the book.

Tomb Raider: The Ride POV Surfaces
Good stuff; thanks for posting- for some strange reason, the ending quote sounds very familiar: "Nothing gets the best of Laura Croft, unless she lets them, and I didn't raise that kind of girl"

When did you join KICentral?
I joined in May of last year (2012). I'd previously read the forums on this site for a while and really wanted to join, so I finally did. Random Question, though: Where can I find my member number?

A diversion
I know that last year, Carowinds had ERT for Nighthawk, WindSeeker and Intimidator. I don't know how early Gold Pass holders were let in, though. EDIT: I previously said Platinum Pass holders by mistake (I changed it to Gold).

Spirit Song line-up partially announced
Three words... Thousand. Foot. Krutch. When I heard the news this morning, I was so excited. They put on an awesome live show that's sure to RAWK! Oh, and Skillet, Newsboys and TobyMac are awesome too. EDIT: Crowder's cool too.

Jungle Jims at Kings Island
I like the water tower, and if it is going, I'll be sad to see it go

Kings Island Dreams
I've had many Kings Island dreams, but I'd like to share one I had last night. The whole dream took place in Action Zone. I noticed that Backlot had been moved to Action Zone and that a Son of Beast train was being pulled up in the air by a crane. I was at first confused when I saw the train as I knew the ride had already been demolished. I rode The Beastie (yes, it was called The Beastie in my dream) but it was a kiddie shuttle coaster. Flight Deck was also in the dream.

Advice on a trip to Kings Dominion
I don't know how much help I'll be as I didn't ride much the one time I went. That being said, I do remember enjoying Volcano, Anaconda and Avalanche.

You might be a KI addict if you...
Similar story... there was the stretch of curvy road I was on (I'm not sure it still exists) that reminds me of Adventure Express (it curves a bit up to the left and then takes a semi-steep right turn).

Merry Christmas!
Thank you Don; Merry Christmas to everyone

KI Photo Chain Game
(It may be hard to see; Firehawk is towards the bottom middle of the picture) Easy: Shake, Rattle, and Roll and Vortex Hard: Diamondback's splashdown from rivertown Expert: All of Action Zone from Effial Tower

Your SoB memories
I remember my first ride on Son of Beast. I remember being so nervous in line (as SoB was my first looping coaster) and then loving the drop out of the station. I also remember the loop not being as bad as I thought it would be. After that first ride, it quickly became one of my favorites. I also remember coming off one ride in slight pain due to the roughness of the rose bowl. When the loop was removed, I remember riding and feeling a slight letdown when the train cruised over the straight piece that was the former loop section. And for some reason, I really loved the twisty part between the second helix and the break run.

If you could ask Don one question.
I've got a question: Is the old Nickelodeon sign (the really big one that used to be in Nickelodeon Central) still in storage?

These are some of your favorite things.
Roller coasters, music, Thousand Foot Krutch (my favorite band), going to church, retro stuff from the '90s

Ride Bucket List
I'd like to go to Six Flags New England, Six Flags Magic Mountain and Disney's California Adventure someday. I'd also like to try out a Floorless coaster, SLC and a regular boomerang as I've never been on either of these coaster types/models (and yes, I've heard SLC's are painful, but still...). Also, Hades (soon-to be Hades 360) in Wisconsin Dells looks pretty cool.

Dollywood is closing Adventure Mountain
I read about Adventure Mountain's closure on Screamscape a few days ago. I'm sort-of bummed as I enjoyed Adventure Mountain when I visited Dollywood.

Which ride would you ride again if you could? TRTR/SOB
Wow, this is a tough one, but I'd have to go with Son of Beast. While Tomb Raider was awesome and breathtaking, I've only ridden it twice in it's original form (I've ridden Son of Beast with the loop a few more times). Also, I'd kind have gotten used to The Crypt's meh cycle enough to be OK with it leaving the park.

Your best trip of the season?
I've had a lot of great trips to KI this season; here are some of the highlights: -Getting night rides on White Water Canyon and Adventure Express -KIC Day 2012 -Riding the repainted Invertigo
-
Bad Luck
One time when I worked at the park, I got off early and decided to ride Invertigo. Right as I was next in line to ride, it shut down due to the weather (I think there was lightning or something). I didn't end up staying in line as I had to get home.

Worst Ride Ever!
Worst coaster ever? Mean Streak. Last time I rode it, the bottom of the first drop was rougher than Son of Beast's rose bowl.
-
Route of the Railroad?
I enjoy riding the train and feel like it's a break from all the action.

Old Cedar Point Commercials
I think the Millenium Force and Raptor promos are pretty cool.
