SIX: Nine/THREE
Watched the Joker POV... still makes me sad the coaster's not ROARing through the track anymore. Sigh... Now I know how those that enjoyed other RMC-ed creations in their past lives felt...

SIX: Nine/THREE
Pinch me I must be dreaming... Superman is back!!!! Also, 2 parks getting 3 rides each? Wow! Also, throw in a 4-D coaster to the mix and you've got a great lineup.

Kings Island Coaster Campout
I'd love to see a campground back at the park... I never went to the old campgrounds, but that would be awesome waking up to The Bat or The Beast or whatever ride a new campground would be close to.

Kentucky Kingdom
Thunder Run is amazing and Lightning Run is good too. The water park has a very unique selection of water slides that are worth checking out. Have not yet ridden T3, so I can't comment on that. I didn't try a ton of the flat (non-coaster) rides, though Fearfall is pretty fun. Also, the locker system at Kentucky Kingdom is really cool as there is a bracelet that opens the locker (instead of having to remember a password).

Cedar Point 2016 Talk
I agree, Lightning Racer is amazing. #teamlightning! I bet it would be crazy fun at night; my only Hershey night rides have been Comet and Great Bear (another ride I love!)

Kings Island 2015 Discussion Thread
Seriously!?!?!? Even though I was on my phone last time I was in line (on KIC no less...), I appreciate the video and the lack thereof (at least in my mind) lessens the experience/nostalgia. EDITed for word choice

blackout maze!
(In reference to Delirium 2018's question) When I went through last year, there was! It was towards the beginning of the maze- the second room I think it was. Don't know if the lights were intended to be off, but it was really dark. EDITed for spelling; sorry, I was on my smartphone when I original typed this...

blackout maze!
I don't know if I'll be trying this maze; seems scary. The pitch-black section in Board to Death was enough for me. A whole maze like this... nope!* *Well, maybe I'd try it once, but if it's anything like how upstop is setting the scene to be, then probably not. I'll just stick to Carnevil and Slaughterhouse, thank you very much! (However, I would like to try Madame Fatale's this year...)

Do changes to a coaster/ride qualify it as new?
Tough question, and probably purely subjective. To me, Rougarou and The Bat aren't new coaster credits to me. However, if I had ridden Cyclone at SFNE before it became Wicked Cyclone, I'd count each as a new coaster credit if I had ridden both "versions" of the ride. However, when Son of Beast's loop was removed, I didn't count this as a new credit, but I did make a note in my personal coaster count that says I rode it both with and without the loop. I've never ridden a coaster that I've ridden in a former location yet (think someone who has ridden both X-Flight at Geagua Lake and Firehawk here), so I don't know if I'll classify the ride as "new" when I've ridden it at a new location. That's just my 2 cents on the issue.

Tropical Plunge - NEW for 2016!
Hmmm... never knew that. Good to know!

Tropical Plunge - NEW for 2016!
Has there ever been a path directly connecting the two slides in the past? I've always remembered Pineapple Pipeline being at a dead-end. -MDMC, just wonderin'

A Plea for BB
Even though I'm not a Boomerang Bay enthusiast as BB1 is, I'm loving these photos; especially the detailed theming! I went to Carowinds' water park before it became Boomerang Bay (either during my 2001 trip or my 2003 trip) and I remember being so nervous to ride Pipeline Peak, but it ended up being really fun. I'm also loving that last picture of all the coasters in the background. I've got to get there to ride Nighthawk soon...

Tropical Plunge - NEW for 2016!
Here's an easy way to avoid confusion: Just call all the other attractions by their old WaterWorks names (Bonsai Pipeline/Wipeout Beach/ Helix/Ultratwister)! But seriously, I can understand confusion due to the similar-sounding names. Therefore, some of these slides could possibly be renamed to avoid confusion.

New for 2016 at Kings Dominion: Delirium
I'm wearing my Great Bear shirt right now for Casual Friday! In fact, I've worn mostly coaster shirts on Casual Fridays

Kings Island 2015 Discussion Thread
(In response to electricsun's recent post about riding coasters with her niece and nephew) It's not silly; I totally get it. I was so proud when my 6 year old cousin rode The Bat for the first time and enjoyed it (and this was after his first ride on The Beast. I certainly wasn't that brave at 6 years old!) Also, I love The Bat, so it warmed my heart to hear he enjoyed it.

The lost 1992 Dinn woodie
I'm curious if these plans have resurfaced in other forms at other parks. I guess what I'm asking is: did any part of this lost project appear in another form at another park (like how the rumored Adams Family coaster became Mystery Mine)?

KI killed the 80s store!
(In response to Steph88's post about the 90's, specifically Pokemon) What generation are you on? I'm up to third gen (I have Sapphire) + Blue snd Gold from the Game Boy/Game Boy color days. And Crash 2 is the only game from that series that I've 100%-ed.

KI killed the 80s store!
I would love a 90's store at KI! I grew up during that decade and still have some relics from that era (Pokemon Blue, Crash Bandicoot). Bring on the 90's!

Slinky Dog Coaster at Disney's Hollywood Studios
Could there possibly be a launch in the slinky tunnel (which would explain why its intentionally skipped over in the video)? Good to know there may more one more family launch coaster out there in addition to Backlot, Firechaser Express and Adventure Drive (Suzuka Circuit, Japan).

2016 announcement?
I understand now; thanks Goble for explaining (I had to look at Google maps for reference! ). And wow, both of those are going to be taken out... that's crazy! I wonder how much the parking lot will be reconfigured to accommodate the new (and only) entrance.

Tropical Plunge - NEW for 2016!
Over near Tidal Wave Bay and the volleyball courts. Finally!!! I've always thought something could be in that area and I was thinking drop slides would be perfect -I was right!

2016 announcement?
I saw the news on break at work and am finally caught up in reading about all the excitement! First, I'm pumped about the three drop slides as I've enjoyed the ones I've ridden at Dorney and Kentucky Kingdom (Snake Pit and Deep Water Dive, respectively) and have always wanted one at KI. I'm seriously super glad that these types of slides are so close to us! However, I'll be curious to see if Pineapple Pipeline (Bonsai Pipeline to those WaterWorks fans like me!) loses some ridership as the middle slide is essentially a basic capsule slide minus the capsule. Second, the automatic pass holder parking lane sounds cool as I'll be getting (or receiving, as in a possible birthday/Christmas present) a Gold or Platinum Pass for next year and it will surely be more convenient (I don't mind the tolls as they are now, but this is still really cool news). However, I do have questions about where the tolls and slides will be. Also, are the North tolls closer to 71N (where Adventure Express and Beast lots are)? And will anything be done with the main tolls? Thanks for answering these questions. EDIT: Tropical Plunge location confirmed. Still wondering about the parking tolls location, though I think I have a good idea based on the related thread about the slides.

I found it intresting that they were all Cedar Fair giga coasters.

Haunt 2015
If The Undertaker is there, I wonder what (or who, perphaps) will be in front of the fountains?

Down Home Country ends this Sunday
I watched in when I worked in the Festhaus a number of years ago (it was good), however I've not seen it this year. However, I did hear it once while passing through and I did notice the singers were a bit better than a few years ago. I was too busy riding Viking Fury, getting a great view from the Effiel Tower and waiting for Cirque to catch any of the shows last Sunday.
