As much as I love Skyline and LaRosa's, I hate eating them at KI. Skyline kills my stomach and LaRosa's hurts real bad going up the DB lift hill. (Yet somehow I always end up eating at either of the two stores) And of course I have to have my chili cheese fries from potato works and a funnel cake.

Anyone dare to enter Soak City with the weather being this cold?

New for 2014: Charlie Hustle 309... Charlie Hustle 4192... the first coaster in the world to top 4000 feet! (it could actually be 4192 inches... that is 350 feet)- not my vote, but could be... Or maybe, if Scott Rolen retires next season they could name it after the 316 home runs he had.

So you want a steel version of The Beast? I woulnd't mind this thing having two lift hills like Adventure Express. I'm not sure the second hill on AE counts. It's too anticlimactic. EDIT: dumb mobile app didn't post my comment

^not a bad observation So who's excited about the family bathroom?! Also for the kid talking about what he saw on the clip board, that just sounds too fake. I mean come on, if they were to put in a new ride, the last thing they would do is put it on a park map. If they were to be comparing it to the land they would have an aerial image like the one TTD posted of DB back on page 42. Whether or not this "trip report" is real, i really don't care. But it sure is causing a lot of buzz and I like It!

Oh my gosh I'm crying! That's hilarious. My friends have been trying to get me to watch that movie for quite some time but i'm always too busy.

I am torn. On one hand I love tall rides. But on the other hand I do think that if were getting a B&M Giga and it were to be taller than the Eiffel Tower, I think it would take away the feeling and the majesty of the tower being the main centerpiece of the park. So maybe instead of breaking records in terms of heights, we go for something else... New At Kings Island For 2014! Kings High School: The Ride "A Ride so long you'll leave the park!"

We had an off day today for some reason. It was a perfect day to go though. I get out the 23rd I got out the 23rd too, and I have an off day Friday...for some reason. lol. Wow! I want to go to your schools! Mine doesn't get out until the 29th. You should feel lucky. Xenia schools don't get out until June 4. Thankfully, it's been eight years since I've had to deal with that (actually nine since the seniors get out about two weeks earlier than the rest of the students). my school is worse! June 7th. But since my school is online I can go to KI on a week day. School is K12 (OHVA) and can do my work when ever as long as its done before midnight each day. Vandalia-Butler is out the 6th of June so consider yourselves lucky...

But it seems like Blue Fire has no big characteristics like a leviathan-type coaster. As we've already heard: "One does not simply replace a towering 200+ foot tall wooden coaster that is still fresh in everyone's mind, with another something like BLSC in the same park." - DontWantTo Cedar Fair is really going to have to outdo the Gargantuan Glob of Wood that once stood where supposed "new ride" is going, just because of how big of a loss that ride was to the park. And besides, when was the last time KI added something really big? 4 years ago. Seems like we're really due up for something huge. Also Mack is a company that is not as well known by Cedar Fair as B&M is. Soo... yeah, it's probably not going to be a Mack. sorry.

Never really had anything embarrassing happen to me. But in the 6th grade I had this teacher that told my class a story about a time she came to Kings Island. To summarize the enormous class-waster of a story, she rode Vortex, with huge dangly earrings on, her ears bled, and she never rode it again. She was a very "Barbie-esque" person. (But still why would anyone wear dangly earrings to an amusement park?)

My uncle can't ride that, he's already out of hair.

Diamondback's first hill goes directly over top of the old fashioned photos building. If where the footers are is the station and the ride were to go directly into a lift hill, they wouldn't necessarily have to clear those trees. (all hypothetical)

My friend who's at the park told me that at about 4:30 this afternoon Diamondback, Drop Tower, Vortex, Firehawk, and Flight of Fear were all broken down. Yikes!

How bout some love for Firehawk? I'm starting to see green on the underside of the track.

..And thats brings back the whole Conversation as to whether Kings Island can actually Have a Coaster very much taller than 300' due to the proximity to The Airport. Lebanon-Warren county airport is 7.85 Miles from the park while Cedar Point is only 3.12 miles from Griffing Sandusky Airport. Airport height restrictions doesn't seem like a very logical excuse for not being able to build beyond a certain height when you take that into account. But still good thinking.

I think a cool (yet a bit less intimidating) name would be "Guardian" unfortunately that seems too close to Gatekeeper
