^Someone (unnamed) from the KIC community trespassed into the Kings Island Construction site. It is unfortunate that it happened and it may have caused this removal of the topic. I sent Dane an email, but i doubt ill hear back from him. im sure this was intentional and hes probably busy right now. Whatever happens, i trust his judgement and we all should. Just about 10 minutes ago i was reading the topic when went to the next page and the site said i did not have permission to read and when i returned to the main menu, it was no longer listed. Was i banned? Is it because of the trespasser? Did someone guess right? Anybody know? Thanks, DBI

When i go to the main page on firefox a 404 error from a website called "Host Gator" appears. But on safari it's fine.

Before I start, I must say this is all just opinion. Okay. Here's how I do Diamondback every time. Get on back seat on the left. Leave about an inch between the lap bar and your waist. Keep hands and feet up during entire ride. Turn around. Watch the track fly by behind you throughout ride. Smile for the Camera. Look at the water shoot during the splashdown. Get soaked. Looking Backwards on this ride is the most terrifying thing you can encounter in the entire park. (Especially on the first drop) Don't believe me? Try it. As for Vortex, try back seat blindfolded. Holy crap it's fun. But enough of my opinion. How do you ride the coasters at KI? (or anywhere else) Any special techniques?

One flew onto my friends face when I went on Wednesday. Beast definitely has the greatest night ride ever.

We pardon this double post for some new photos. Took a little excursion down to the park on wednesday. Not much different from my last trip (7-1-13) But definitely more work going on down in the valley. Quick question, what is this? Was unable to get my group atop the Tower of Eiffel for some aerial pics. Sorry :/

for all we know, every action the park has taken in the past year may not be related at all to the new ride. But wheres the fun in thinking like that?

Diamondback's website is no longer in use. https://www.kiDiamondback.com This could be a sign that Cedar Fair wants to shift our attention away from the ride that may end up losing its title as "The Meanest coaster ever to strike Kings Island" to something new. DBI, beginning to notice something...

Welcome to the forums Cedar Point Gal! If you are looking to save money, pack a lunch. You can bring it into the park or choose to go out to your car to eat if you want. (that's what my family does) If you don't care about spending money LaRosa's and Skyline are pretty good. There are LaRosa's on the right side of International street, in the left side of the Festhaus in Oktoberfest, and in Rivertown by Beast. Skyline is in Coney Mall and on the left side of International Street as you enter. Also there is a Chick-fil-a in the entrance to Planet Snoopy if you like that. No, unfortunately the Cedar Point bottles only work there but Kings Island has their own at the front of the park to buy. Diamondback, Beast, Flight of Fear, Woodstock Express, Vortex, Firehawk, Great Pumpkin Coaster, and Boo Blasters on boo hill. Hope you enjoy your trip! DBI

Soo... Uh... Kings Island anyone? Let's see if we can get this train back on track. New Ride 2014. Many questions can still be asked: What kind of ride? Coaster? Anyone out there think it will not be a coaster? When will the release be? July? August? What year? 2013? 2014? If coaster, what kind? Made by who? What color will it be? Is there anything in the park that all this construction has made us forget about? Maybe a giant empty tan box in Rivertown? What if all this construction is a slight diversion? Maybe the year 2014 has more in store for us than this so called "Banshee"...
