Anyone else out there taking into consideration the possibility of a ride like Verbolten? The old SOB terrain would work perfectly for a ride like that.

Gosh all this excitement is just killing me! I need to go to the park next weekend and check all this out! Also if anyone has any pictures of the old SOB/TA area from the Eiffel Tower today please post them ASAP.

You mean taking pics from atop the Eiffel Tower isn't an option? I'm not at the park, how could I do that?

Hello everyone, Just out of curiosity, which Mason water park do you prefer? The Beach or Soak City @ Kings Island

For anyone who hasn't noticed, a new park map is now up on the site at: https://www.visitkingsisland.com/images/uploads/file/2013%20KI%20Park%20Map.pdf Not really any noticeably big changes but here's what I see: Vortex track is now more orange-y Thunder Alley is gone AZ water tower is gone Racer's supports look more detailed Also I notice the lack of a change. They did not add the new tallest dinosaur to DA. So overall pretty boring in terms of changes to the map, but still a new map is a new map. And something about seeing a new map gets me excited for the opening of the park!

With SOB gone, the park is going to look sooooo empty. Thats all I care about seeing. After that, I wanna ride Diamondback and beast like 50 bajillian times and then ill be happy.

Wow Action Zone looks soo empty on that map. At least Drop Zone is still there

No, I'm not that big of a Brady Bunch fan. I've only ever seen "The Cincinnati Kids" a couple of times and I only watched it to see what the park looked like way back when. Plus I was about umm -24 when they filmed that episode. So I may go to the park on May19th, but not to see the Bunch.

I am really excited for Soak City and riding Diamondback, beast, Flight of Fear, and Invertigo back seat!!!! Also I'm really curious as to see what the park looks like without Son of Beast and Thunder Alley!

I miss the theming of rides such as top gun, tomb raider: the ride, and Backlot Stunt Coaster. Also I miss the paramount story (tower gardens) that area has really gone down the toilet.

I would remove all the useless queue line bars inside the Hangar of FOF and put in 2 or 3 larger televisions and have some sort of storyline to go along with the ride. Or maybe even some sort of animatronics to go along in there.

Looks like someone took Disney World and Universal and mashed them together into one park. That future area looks pretty close to Tomorrowland and the enchanted forest looks an awful lot like Fantasyland. And you're right shark, it does look like city walk.
