Why? Those blueprints were obtained the same way as our Banshee blueprints. I think they're legit. I'm interested in seeing what the inversion like element circled in blue is.

Okay, pet peeve of mine. This sub-topic is for Kings Island discussion. Mean Streak obviously is not Kings Island. So, why is this thread in Kings Island discussion? It as well as the "Cedar Point Will Be Announcing A New Attraction For 2014 As Well" thread should not be here. Also, we already have a Cedar Point 2014 thread properly located here. On top of that, all three of these threads basically discuss the same thing, making it hard to follow when it is spread among three threads. Basically, what I'm getting at is: Why has a mod not merged these three threads into the thread properly located and linked to above? rcwizard13, not trying to act like a mod or anything; it just gets confusing.

Well, I would say that once kids hit 5th/6th grade they start to like roller coasters. But, it is from a GP standpoint and they will all believe the stupid rumors we always make fun of. As far as enthusiasts go, the only way I've ever found one is on the internet or at the park. I, for the record, started becoming an enthusiast when I was in 6th grade. I'm now in tenth and never met any enthusiast outside of the above two mentioned places.

Wow, Oldiesmann, great pictures! I didn't realize that many other track pieces had arrived. I'm really looking forward to track placement. I would love if it could be topped out by the final weekend of haunt. More would be great. I just want the fantastic photo ops.

^^^ Invertigo and Flight Deck, in my opinion, will both still be here for a long while. Invertigo's line is always long and looks great in the front of the park. Sure, Flight Deck is never much of a line, but it does have a steady flow of people getting on it. Also, I believe ridership will increase in the coming years for all AZ rides thanks to Banshee. However, I could still see Congo Falls and Timberwolf removed sooner than the other two, but still not for a while.

Well, you must have some bad luck. Or I just have good luck. I've never been there when its not running. (Unless you want to include Banshee's announcement.)

You're not clueless. There is nothing to see in that photo. It is just the Point performing a poor attempt to tease. Especially when taking into consideration Terp's post.

Well would you look at that. Right in the middle of my first day of school. At least I'll have something to look forward to that day. I've heard a rumor that the reason it's the biggest is because they will finally announce that resort hotel that has spent years on the rumor mill.

^ Dude, if that's the case you might as well just buy some land and open up your own park. Because you literally just got rid of everything Kings Island currently has. It'd be much cheaper for you to start some where fresh.

First, I'm pretty sure that Kings Island already does advertise Surf Dog as a roller coaster. Second, just because the park owner insists on something being classified as a coaster, doesn't mean it is.

The only thing Holiday World may be announcing is who has control of it.

Reading some of these ideas just downright kill me. Some have no consideration for budget and others go many years in a row with nothing but maintenance, which, I'm pretty sure results in attendance drops. I never knew "enthusiasts" could have such horrid plans. Also, most give nothing to the water park until 2019! 15 years after the last new slide! I'm hoping 2015's addition is some new slides. We are well overdue for some.

I thought the same thing. KI- "Those who have rode Diamondback know how reliable and smooth a B&M is." Me- "Funny, I rode it earlier, but had to suffer a 20 min delay" Of course, I still trust B&M, as well. It's just highly ironic for those of us who were in line at the time of the breakdown.

So you're the reason my wait for Diamondback was 20 minutes longer than expected. JK. Better safe than sorry. Also, it seemed to be for about 6 or 7 cycles. Or each train twice. Must of it was mechanics working on the one train in the station. Also, during the delay, there was a line jumping incident behind me in which five guests were kicked out of line.

It is because of that reason that I plan on barely reading the forums tonight and tomorrow. Sure, I'll read other topics, but any 2014 topics I'll just quickly skim through them and see if there is anything of stand out interest. I don't have any time for all the bull crap complaining I fear many will do. Fireworks usually only last 5 min or so. Also, they may have a couple more fireworks planned for during the announcement, launching from the construction site. Or, at least, that's what I'm hoping they do.

I can't think of any thing that would go out anytime soon. Some things I would most like to see go are: Firehawk- The terrible capacity just isn't worth it. Replace it with another coaster or more flats/ facilities to make X-Base an official area. One or more slide complexes at Soak City- We need new ones! AquaLoop, anyone? Boo Blasters- It was fun with Shaggy and Scooby, but now it's lame. It needs a drastic re-theme.
