Kentucky Kingdom
This morning, via Facebook, the park said that T3 will be open to the public on May 30th. They have been reminding folks all week that the park will NOT be open to the General Public this weekend. There are tens of people upset they cannot visit their favorite park.

Changes to 2015 dining plans (Update: not happening)
Pay for a locker? I thought they had them available for free in the queue areas? Oh wait, wrong park.

Changes to 2015 dining plans (Update: not happening)
While the parks that I visit offer All Day Dining plans, they do not have a "Pass Holder" version. Can't imagine why.

I just drove through Nashville over the weekend and there was not a KK billboard any where. HW on the other hand.

Bring a Friend for $14.99 (Gold and Platinum Pass Holders) Father's Day, June 21st
I don't remember what I had for breakfast yesterday let alone a KI visit from nearly a year ago. I do recall a packed park and rude a holes in quite a few places. I also remember other people talking about encountering the same problems in the past and that Bring a Friend days were days they avoided the park. There was also talk of different crowds being attracted to Bring A Friend Days. Now all the sudden folks loved it and Bring A Friend Days are the bees knees, lol. It's cool though, I couldn't go even if I wanted.

I do not think the park has announced the new Coaster yet. Their page is in Chinese which I cannot read but I see nothing showing a Wing Rider. As for your friend, you can talk to them about anything you feel, including these parts. Sharing them with us is most likely not an option from said discussions though. I'm sure they would tell you that as well.

Also, expect that crowd to be....uh....different than the ones you normally encounter at the park. Participated in this last year with some friends. NEVER again.

Busch Gardens Tampa: New ride watch
Well, I'm sure I will get on it once just to see what it is like. That may or may not be a smart decision though, lol.

Ugh. I won't be riding that.

Red Track spotted at Batavia Steel Plant
Saw pictures of the track up close on FB. According to the labels it is a Wing Coaster and is going to a park in China. Not going to post the photos here as they do not appear to have been taken legally.

Dollywood Suggestions/Tips
I believe our crowd experience was influenced by the fact that it had stormed almost the entire day prior. By the time it ended it was not too far from closing time.

Dollywood Suggestions/Tips
My trip to Dollywood was during the week in June. The park was packed. Took most of the day just to get on the Coasters and the Swing Ride. The park closed pretty early that day as well. If you are lucky, it will rain one day you are there. It did the day before our group was to visit the park. So I went to the park while the group played at the Hotel and bought a 2day ticket. The park was dead and I was able to ride everything over and over in just three hours During our visit the next day everyone wished they had just came with me.

Abandoned plates? Wow. I bet they are loving all the money they are making from this simple meal plan.

Extra? They refused to give him even one. Period.- Red Track spotted at Batavia Steel Plant
Same thing I was thinking as well. There are zero signs of any construction at the park.- Changes to 2015 dining plans (Update: not happening)
Exactly. Paying these folks a real wage would weed out the weak What I find exceptionally annoying is when multiple people serve you. My local Cracker Barrel is a good example. One person takes your drink order, another brings your drinks and takes your food order, yet another brings that food to the table. The one that took your food order brings the check and asks if you want a to go drink. Yet another brings you said to go drink. 4 different people. Who in the hell am I supposed to tip?- Souvenir cup questions
Once upon time, POS machines involved typing in a bunch of numbers and adding them up for a total. As much as I like Technology, I really miss the simple times.- Cedar Fair New Trade Mark
Paramount missed out on Fiery Fist O Pain.- Souvenir cup questions
First time I ever saw that used here, I had to think about it, lol. Both terms do properly identify the system.- Kentucky Kingdom
Yup. The park reads this board and obviously pays close attention to this thread. I'd say they know exactly who you are. I wouldn't use them as a reference.- Souvenir cup questions
Don't quote someone if you aren't calling them out.- Changes to 2015 dining plans (Update: not happening)
One could still tip even if the servers were paid a decent wage. Hell, I'm a mechanic that gets paid VERY well, yet I get tips from time to time. Tipping for great service is one thing, tipping because I HAVE to in order for them to get paid fairly......is another. Servers get stiffed more than they get tipped. - Souvenir cup questions
