Remove the word stick.

I nearly live next door to the place and do not dream of visiting it. I have been warming up to the place though because their Season Pass price isn't too bad when you think about all it comes with. Plus they don't make you pay for most all of it upfront, unlike Universal. My main issue now is that the place is packed full for most of the year.

Lots of construction going on at the park. The Coaster route is dug up and marked and lots of busted up concrete. I saw all of this from the lift of Kraken so I was unable to take pics. Some of it is visible from International Drive. Our trip was a quickie to ride Coasters and catch a couple shows so we never made it to the Shark area so I could look around.

It's an amusement park, of course the selections are minimal and costly.

People like that are the reason 500 word "warning" labels exist.

Was at the Ocala Drive In watching Jurassic World and San Andreas. We went to the one in KY during the months it was open. This one is open year round so now we can completely avoid the sit down places. I don't need 3D gimmicks and Surround Sound to enjoy a movie.

Sorry to double post but it is funny you mention Humidity. Sitting outside at the Drive In. Wishing I wasn't in a tank top and shorts. The evenings have been wonderful the last 4 months.

The initial investment to build a park from scratch is more than most folks could ever afford. The investment risk is also more than most rich folks feel comfortable with. One HRP and they would likely be screwed.

At BGT the ride photo kiosks are self service. When you click your picture a video of your ride plays while your picture loads beside it. When you do that for Shiekra the amount of cameras that are out when the car stops before dropping is sad.

They just need to put in a big replacement for Gwazi and I will be happy. I normally spend all day at the park. Not much of that time is spent waiting on rides. I love this park.

How badly does SeaWorld want folks to come through the gates, you ask? June is bring a friend for free MONTH.

Like it or not the main draw for these parks are families. Putting in a one of a kind (in the area) ride is a smart move. It will draw attention regardless of how many hundreds of feet tall it is. The theming alone will draw attention. We aren't talking about a seasonal thrill park.

Going to the park on Sunday, hoping to see some signs of construction.

Folks see the name and immediately lose all interest in riding it.

Shenanigans. Every Beer I have ever tried, tasted exactly the same, disgusting. I still remember folks in the barracks telling me to just start chugging them and I will get used to the taste. No thanks. You keep chugging while I take a couple shots. That was my younger days. I pretty much stopped drinking (I may have a drink once or twice a year) and my life has greatly improved.

Selfie, man I despise that word and the trend. Folks spend so much time taking pictures to remember their trip, they don't get to enjoy their trip.

One can drink Alcohol at home as well. Such Nasty stuff, this Beer that people love so much. Much like inhaling smoke from a burning stick, I just don't get the appeal. That said, let me know if they ever have a Bourbon Tasting event.

The Reason? The Fairgrounds existed long before Kentucky Kingdom. The park was originally built as an extension of the KY State Fair and it failed very quickly. Basically they just stuck it where they had room. Mr. Hart brought the park back from the dead and used what area he could get to expand the park.

Hate to say it but a few people need to get hit with a Phone or Camera. Perhaps even a major injury. Until then the parks will continue their lackadaisical enforcement of this rule and folks will continue to ignore it. Just the way the world works.
