Adventure Express, Mayan Indiana Jones esque theming...in whats left of "Oktoberfest" Also, how do you know the park may not add a European kind of theme to an area. We already have Frontier Town/Trail that's beautifully themed. Then there's several shops & items that have great theming to them such as Pagoda for instance. Just because they don't have it now doesn't mean they won't have it ever at all. It's just a name, it's just a ride. Keep to that, and amusement parks get alot more fun, promise. I don't critique Flight of Fear because it has a dumb name, I go to parks, and ride rides. Something tells me you would love to go back and forth on this for days. You think I don't have fun at parks when you don't even know me? Bold statement. I ride rides as well. Just don't care for one named after a mythical child killing beast. I'm sure the ride will be fun, I like Dive Coasters. Just don't care for the name. Sorry that that bothers you SO much.

How well the parks are or aren't themed was not my point. You know how Busch Gardens Tampa uses an African theme for pretty much everything? SeaWorld uses.....The Sea. Etc, Etc. Last I checked, Cedar Point wasn't a park themed to European Folklore.

No. It is a great name for a properly themed park. Something that Cedar Point is not.

No. Only because the drive is just too far for me now. I attended a past event and had a lot of fun. There are lots of great people on this forum and I recommend that everyone that is able to attend any future KIC events.

Looks like a cool ride to me. Looks like I will be adding KK to my list of parks to visit if I go to KY next year. As for the low quality reveal video, big deal. We all know the park is low on funds thanks to a tight operator.

I doubt we will be seeing much in the way of Wood Coasters these days. Aside from the RMC creations that is. Not saying they are dead, just that folks appear to want tall, tall, tall, fast, fast, fast, these days. B&M provides that with unmatched reliability. That said, I would like to see an RMC at Kings Island.

They have that goofy Valravn (hope I spelled that right) copyrighted and the name fits a Dive Coaster very well, just not one at Cedar Point. Knowing Cedar Point, this ride is not going to be a small one. I expect it to be an 8 or 10 across model, most likely the tallest and longest of its kind.

I feel that once all is said and done, Six will no longer have any Wooden Coasters to maintain. If that helps them in the "Profits" area, I expect other parks to follow suit.

While I do not recommend this person ride any Coasters with a bad back, lets not kid ourselves here. Those Warnings are indeed posted for many reasons. The biggest however is something we called C.Y.A. in the military.

That is pretty much the normal deal when it comes to Meijer. They are building one in my home town back in Kentucky and they submitted this same list of demands. The town has just recently gone "Wet" and they made in clear they wanted no Bars or porno shops anywhere near them. The Town Council made sure to give them everything they wanted...as long as they met a couple of the cities demands. They did. Meijer knows what they are doing.

My days of riding with a single stranger have been replaced with 3 or 7 of them. Being the odd duck in a group is different than one on one though. Not nearly as awkward......sometimes.

Sorry. I have mentioned where I moved to on numerous occasions. Just left it out this time and named a ride. He also loves Shiekra and Manta.

Knowing that my Son would ride anything in the past, I have been more persuasive since moving down here. Turns out the roughness of Vortex killed his desire to ride. Once I told him the rides in the parks here weren't like that he has decided to try things again. He has now been on all the Coasters and is a big fan of Kumba.

I will never use Twitter, I only followed him around because he is my Idol.

Burns can be a very serious problem. I am amazed the death toll is not much higher. The recovery time is very long with a small burn. Just imagine 50 % or more of your body in 3rd degree. I feel bad for those involved, no one should have to go through that.

I will not miss "Off Season" at all.

Took some pictures of what little there is to see of the construction without going in the air or riding Kraken. They have this very nice rendering of what the area will look like when completed stuck on the walls. Then there is this construction going on beside the Kids Area.

So, HRP had multiple Investors and a 385 million dollar loan. The park only cost 225 million dollars to build. That leaves 165 million dollars left plus investors. Yet...... They couldn't afford to advertise?
