Lids on the ladies restroom trash cans
Every time I've been in the restrooms, there is an attendant there. I guess I have good timing, or the attendant actually stays in or around the restroom to which they are assigned. Does anyone know what KI's practice is on this? I've not seen overflowing trashcans in the women's room. I don't know if I'd want a covered trashcan, being that I'd just washed my hands and wouldn't want to shove against a panel where someone might not have washed their hands, and even with the gapped covered trashcans, you have to duck it under the 'roof', also causing potential to touch something unpleasant. What time did you go to the park? Since I usually go in the afternoon, I can't speak for the conditions that a morning park goer would find in the morning hours.

Flight of Fear Buliding Damage
I shall be going today, (Wednesday). I'd like to see this, also. It would be even neater to either see the workers, or better yet, see it fixed in such a snappy quick way.

KI 8/20/12 TR
I'll be going tomorrow or Wednesday. Thanks for the heads up on the crowds. I, too, suspect the cooler weather at play. I want to pack In a few days to make up for the times it was too hot to go.

8/19 - Ed Alonzo's Psycho Circus of Magic & Mayhem
He seems like a great guy, honestly. Didn't get to meet him, though. I thought he really shone with the volunteer when I saw him.

My Funperks Account Complaint
I totally blew off the Perks Program. The reason I have a season pass is that I get impulsive and yell "Park! Park!" and jump in the car. Wristband? I don't need no stinkin' wristband. It was too much of a hassle for me to calculate all the little dividends.

Son of Beast roller coaster to be removed
I would love a Wild Mouse and/or Bavarian Beetle! I would like more rides like AE, for the kids too old for Planet Snoopy, but not tall enough for The Beast or Diamondback. I remember finally being able to ride The Racer, and thought I ruled the park. Some more rides like that would be nice.

There was a draught in L.A. and they wanted to be authentic?

Worst Ride Ever!
It was some sort of roulette wheel from hell at Americana. I don't even recall the name, it was so awful. It went forward for a thousand years, then went backwards for the same amount of time. I started to fall asleep.

Thanks for the answers and spoiler bars.

Route of the Railroad?
I do love the train. I also wish it also had another station besides SC. I think I've got the mental image of Lesourdesville's Tombstone Territory in my brain, where you took the train or the steamboat to another part of the park.

Magic Mike's Disappearance
There was a cute little girl when I went to the show. He called her up from the audience, is that Magic Mike? She performed some tricks with his help. It was a great part of the show. From knowing magicians, I know how the tricks are done. I don't care. I like magic shows, and the different interpretations of the tricks. I like Ed Alonzo's take on them. He doesn't have a huge space in which to work.

Boy recovering after car struck him at Cedar Point
I, too, got blipped by a car as a small kid. The driver happened to be my father's friend and I recognized him. I felt worse for him than I did for myself. We were pushing a car that stalled in front of my house, and I zigged instead of zagged. To be honest, I'd love to go through the air like that again, if there were a big mattress at the landing point.

New Cedar Point Haunt "Eden Musee" Floor Plan
A wax museum! Every real one I've ever been in had a built creep factor already, including that weird funeral home smell. Genius!

Flight of Fear
Time Stands Still with that awful video. The queue is dusty, drab, the machinery is what I used to work on when TRSdos80 was the latest thing, and I was doing typography, and the dirty mirror belies the fact that it's only half a saucer. I mentioned this in my Tiki trip report. There's really no need for all that space in the inner queue anymore. It's really drab to go into the hangar when it's a beautiful day outside.

Delirium Ride Cycle
The numbers get messed up if the counter doesn't speak clearly enough. Is this throwing up business new to Delirium? When we were on it, the ride only went parallel to the ground, not any higher than ninety degrees. I wonder if the change in cycle might be contributing to the Viking Fury effect.

I so want to go to HW someday, and this report is only adding to my desire to go. Thanks for mentioning the Voyage could be rough, I still want to ride it.

Kings Island 8-10-12
We got there about 3pm, and stayed til about eight. It was up and running all the while I was there, and it was the longest wait in the park. All of my Big King rides were only thirty minutes wait at best.

Kings Island 8-10-12
Went to the park today and everything was go. Action Zone was all up and running. Backlot, too. Saw Alonzo's show finally, and really can't understand the brouhaha about the dancers. Has no one ever seen a party of Irish girls in a bar dancing? The dancing was cute. The potty humor is what most of the audience can understand, most of them were under ten years old. I, too, found myself looking at SOB, and also found that I'm going to be glad when it's gone. Planet Snoopy actually looks really cute, even though it has a smaller roster of characters. I might make a suggestion to riders in shorts on the log flume. Take the BACK SEAT whenever possible. My onride photo revealed a bit too much. Part of my mind was like "hurry up and buy it, so no one else can see it." then I was like "Fool, it's digital. You'll only get one copy of the strange photo- and it'll still be in the hard drive." So I didn't buy it, hoping that no one noticed, and it got quickly erased due to inattention.

Your KI Gear
Thank you It's actually the mortician from the train ride. He was taken out when they revamped the ride to...well, no theming at all. The designer said that he used Boris Karloff (famous classic horror film actor) as reference when sculpting the character - see pic here http://www.imdb.com/...56992/nm0000472. Here is a comparison of the rendering next to the maquette that was once part of the ride: ~Josh He reminds me of The Carrion from Will Eisner's "The Spirit". Up close, the work is fantastic

Yeh, the seatbelts on WhiteWater don't exactly save you from smashing your face on that thing intended for your safety sticking up in the middle of the ...bucket? Barrel? Boat?
