  1. Mid course block breaks are there for safety reasons, coasters are set up in blocks to allow more than one train on the track at one time.
  2. I agree with Gabe just to be in the presence of Walt Disney would be worth it.
  3. I agree on all the trims from first drop to the final break run, they could adjust the distance between magnets. The only practical ones are on the final break run, I have personally seen trains almost blow thru with wet friction breaks from rain. I have not ridden beast this year I'm going to have to try to today since I'm normally in Nick Universe with my little beasties, this makes 20 years of riding The Beast for me.
  4. The smart thing ki could do is consult with the guys from Gravity Group install a 90 degree turn swiping out of the first tunnel than another one at the end of the brake run and then throw in some new Timberlines.
  5. Ok ok we all know that Beast has trims, it always has had trims and the magnetic trims which have been there since the 2003 season are a little much but enough is enough. Trust me I hated them when they were installed, I worked maintenance at the time and I did ask if at least the one on top of the first curve hill be adjusted to prevent the loss of speed. Diamond Back has trims we know, myself I wouldn't question anyone from B&M with all the engineering and testing that is involved with I'm just glad that I'm able to go to ki and enjoy life. Lets all enjoy our love for coasters and try not to complain about all the small things. Ok I think I'm done for now!
  6. I don't think anyone could ever say anything bad about Holiday World!
  7. buckeyemaniac really needs to watch what he says, I was once a ride supervisor and I do know that you really should think about what you write on here.
  8. Best time to ride Beast at night is when there is fog down in the valley.
  9. KK I think is a very nice little park to go to, I used to go there once or twice every summer while working at KI when you could trade in you park tickets for other parks. I was wanting to go there to ride their Proslide rocket water coaster since I helped modify and improve GWL's.
  10. Finally I remember CP doing this.
  11. I don't remember fairly odd ever have a hill removed, I do know that they took out the tunnel when the rethemed it from beastie to fairly odd which to this day I still think is fairly odd. That was the worst thing I had to do when I was working with Creative Environs, I felt like I was going to fall thru the roof for the photo booth.
  12. I'm going to have to venture over there in August with my little beasties.
  13. Both are a must.... Diamond Back first before any rides

  18. You couldn't run 7 trains on beast even if they were empty.
  19. I always loved coaster cafe's name. I designed one in college for a project but for the life of me I can't find it. It had half loop track work that came down from the ceiling and curved down the wall with a clear glass table to eat on.
  20. I bruised my tail bone riding SOB
  21. Potato Works Frys are the best!
  22. She's very cute, my little beasties' are 3 and 5. My 5 year old daughter loves fairly odd coaster, but my 3 year old daughter should be hitting 40 inches sometime soon.
  23. I voted for Firehawks loop I love how you can see the front row upside down when your riding in the last row, first encountered this when it was X-Flight.
  24. If I plan on getting wet I will wear sandals if not just plan old shoes that I have at that time.
