I fit in all of the coasters in one day, but it was a relatively quiet day, so your milage may vary. I would have, however, LOVED to spend more time there.

Apparently, Splendid China was quite a good attraction, too. However, nobody ever visited, so it didn't really matter.

I just find it disappointing that Cedar Fair has left SoB in this condition. Timber Wolf (Worlds of Fun) used to be really bad, but they retracked some of it, and it's actually a really good ride now. It went from second-to-last on my list of favorite wood coasters to #2. It's still rough, but it's nowhere near as bad as it used to be.

Having been injured by SoB (and still having back/neck problems to this day, almost 10 months after my visit), I'm not a fan of it at all.

I had a dream that, on a band trip, the bus broke down and we waited in the Kings Island parking lot to get another bus. However, the employees punished us by forcing us to ride Son of Beast, so we got out our instruments and tore the ride down (think Jericho). Wow, your true feelings really DO come out in dreams!

So, then, why would they add a new coaster?

I'm a bit surprised that a park getting a new coaster is also up for sale. WoF is a really nice park, with one, soon to be two, good woodies. Better make it out there this summer so I can still use my platinum pass...

I think Six Flags could have been able to find a better voice.....

Speaking of lawsuits, has anyone ever sued KI because of injuries on Son of Beast? Just curious...

I could see CF selling KGA and Dorney. I could also see them buying Great Adventure or Magic Mountain if the opportunity arose. CedarPointer, who could see that opportunity happening if the chain that numbers its flags had a hard, rocky failure.

Diamondback looks better, but WoF already has a decent hypercoaster, Mamba. It also has a great woodie, Timber Wolf.

I thought Prowler actually looks really good too.

Honestly, some of these people actually think the reason SOB's loop was removed is because the train fell during the loop. Also, my Health teacher was telling the class how 10 people died on Black Sunday (it came up because of something in our first aid lesson, checking the scene for safety before checking the victim).

I never plan out my visits besides the first few rides of the day during ERT.

Channel 7 had a story about the job fair a few days ago. Some of their clips included the old entrance sign, the new entrance sign with PKI on it, the Drop Zone sign, and SOB's loop.

According to my science class, people have fallen out of Son of Beast, Drop Zone, TRTR, IJST, and The Beast. Also, the reason for the bars at the top of the Eiffel Tower is because people kept jumping off. And, best of all, "Saddleback" is "500 feet tall", "200mph", and built by "Balderdash & Mallard". ...
