Maybe you could go back in time and ban drunk women from Flight Commander. Bad joke, I know.

Well said. I enjoy violent woodies too. Timber Wolf (Worlds of Fun) leaves me with huge bruises, but I still love it because of the amazing laterals, lack of trims, and great airtime. Rough would be Son of Beast. And Timber Wolf pre-2008. Timber Wolf was mostly retracked, and it's still rough, but it doesn't leave me in pain. Son of Beast does. I can still feel the effects of Son of Beast 5 months later. It's like a 200 foot tall liability...

Some constructive criticism: - I really don't get the point of the intro with the weird voice thing. Is there a point? - Get a co-host. That could turn the podcast into more of a "let's discuss the various aspects of KI" thing. Things I liked: - Wow! A podcast host with a sense of humor! After listening to TWiT, I forgot there were any! - Love the album art. - No rat-holes.

no wooden coaster (except maybe The Beast) could ever be better than Son of Beast. Maybe if you have no nerves in your back... well, i am 200% sure that i have nerves in my back and Son of Beast is still (as of pre-Diamondback) my favorite roller coaster at Kings Island, and my favorite wooden roller coaster out of all that i have rode. It's hard to say that a coaster with such a horrid reputation for being rough is good. And before the "oh you have to sit in the right spot and brace yourself", the gp wouldn't event think of that... and coasters aren't made only for enthusiasts.

I'll just repeat what I said about this ride at another site. "It looks like a real Beast..." (btw, I said that before it was announced. I happened to be at the park a few days before that. The layout was a secret too...)

Cut the theming? Most of what has been removed is the very Paramount-ish stuff. (and, mainly, on TRTR). Build a bunch of thrill rides over top of everything? Firehawk was built on unused land. Diamondback may be over a former pond, but the splashdown should look really good too. And SDATHC is still there...

$1,000 fine?!?! How is that supposed to punish the park?!

Son of Beast! Son of Beast! Son of Beast... Did somebody say "shock absorbers"?

They're getting Diamondback, and I don't think we're going to see any other large expenditures, like what would be required to convert one of the current show areas to a BMX arena (remember, AWE was a 'new attraction' at CP this year).

They are used for the same purpose as the buildings "behind" NU: storage, repair shop, etc.

(edit: referring to the TTD line) I think that problem got bigger when the turnstile position was eliminated, and people started stuffing themselves into the station like sardines.
