I was wondering if Kings Island will be busier on a Saturday in October, or a Wednesday in August?

Great work! I did not know that UC had such a great program for Architecture and Design. When I grow up, I hope to design Amusement Park rides and buildings, so I am quite interested in going to the University of Cincinnati. What kind of program did you use to design this?

Would you rather have a corny video or none at all? I don't see CF redoing it. Ever. At least they finally gave the queue some TLC- it needed it! Actually, I love the video and it never crossed my mind about the cheesiness, until some of my friends were making fun of it earlier this year. It is really cheesy.

I always thought those things were creepy. One of them, as well as the "Evil Nursery Baby" in the WEBN haunted house looks EXACTLY like my sister.

Those rides are on Roller Coaster Tycoon 3. From what I hear they are really rough and not that fun.

I agree with you. Flight of Fear should get a ACE landmark status it is the first of It's kind and over a decade later LIM is still being used for launched coasters. I agree that Flight of Fear should receive the ACE landmark status, but I really think whichever FOF lasts longest, Kings Dominion's or Kings Island's will get the award. Plus, aren't all Ace landmarks at least 30 years old? Son of Beast, if it survives at least 15 more years...

I might be wrong, but didn't Kings Island add lighting effects on The Crypt last year? I never noticed them before now and they do add to the atmosphere of the ride.

Is this the comic book 3d movie that used to be at Kings Island? It looks very familiar.

I have been thinking the same thing since 2000. I do not see SOB surpassing The Beast's eventual lifespan, or even coming close to its current life. That is kinda scary thinking about. Will The Beast last forever, or at least as long as Kings Island exists?

Fahrenheit does look cool. I've always loved the light blue- dark orange color scheme for roller coasters.

A lot of people on this site live in Kentucky and Indiana. I live in Cincinnati and it takes forty minutes to get to Kings Island That sucks I got a 20 mintue drive. Ya, but on the plus side I'm only a few miles away from Coney Island.

The rides I hope to ride eventually (if I can) 1. Shooting Star (Coney Island, defuct) 2. Wildcat (Coney Island, defuct) 3. Mystery Mine (Dollywood) 4. X (Six Flags Magic Mountain) 5. Big Bad Wolf (Busch Gardens Williamsburg/ rumored soon to be defuct!)

Rivertown is my favorite- many great coasters, good theming. Theming wise, I would have to say Octoberfest. And thanks to Mcsalsa for another great poll

They put Tempest back together Thursday, but I rode it yesterday and there seems to be something wrong with it. I've rode it before where it spins very little but this particular time it did not spin AT ALL. Also, they're not loading it to full capacity, the girl running it said to balance out the weight. Edit- I just rode it again and it spinned (sp.?) better than ever. A great ride.

There are multiple "CAUTION: KEEP HANDS DOWN AND INSIDE CAR!" signs on the second lift. I myself wouldn't consider putting my hands up being out of the car. I guess I've been a rule breaker for... years

In my opinion, The Beach is A LOT of a bit better than Boomerang Bay. Not only all that stuff but it is a great price for all it offers.

Thats true, are all the rides at Americana just rotting, or have they been sold?

I just went to Kings Island for the first time all year yesterday and Diamondback was sweet. I love Diamondback (especially the air time on the first drop) but I still place The Beast as my favorite. By the way, my DB count is 2.

I would like them to keep it, but they better fix up the theming. I just went to Kings Island for the first time all year yesterday and I could tell they did add lighting effects and a bit of scenery but really they can do better. P.S. Diamondback was sweet
