The Son of Beast Discussion Thread
if anyone remembers back when the berlin wall came down there were alot of chunks encased in glass/plastic that were sold as memorabilia. have any of the parks done anything similar after destroying a beloved coaster? i know i would want a piece of track or support for my desk!

KI Season Pass Renewal Sale Extended
be sure to bring your ID if you plan on using your debit/credit card, even if they both are in the same name. had a little trouble there because i don't bring my ID in with me. i was forced to go run to their ATM machine and pay the non customer fee after waiting 45 minutes in line Saturday.

the website is pretty cool. its like an online documentary of your ki visits. its the only reason i quit dodging the photo peeps at the entrance.

How often do Evacs happen on rollercoasters?
does anyone remember the county fair rides that were just a train that ran in one giant loop? i got evacted from one of those in the late eighties. we were stuck at the top upside down for 30 min until they called the CFD and had a ladder truck come get us out one by one. they released the restraints and we all had to sit on the roof of the ride until the ladder got to us. Very freaky for a 10 year old. how exactly does the evac on the Firehawk work? seems like that would be a tricky ride to do an evac on.

Getting to know other/newer KIC members
Hello all! I am new to these forums, and figured i would start this out and get to know you all. I'll start, my name is Zach, i have lived in Cincinnati for my entire life. I was born in 1979, same year as our beloved Beast. I have been going to KI for as long as i can remember. My first roller coaster was The Beastie, and i even had the privilege to ride on the Screamin Demon. If you see a bald guy riding a blue scooter into the park, or a bald guy in line for Diamondback during ERT thats me! Its nice to meet you all and i love the atmosphere of acceptance that is upheld on these forums, kudos to you all!
