Confirmed Snoopy Coming to Kings Island...
Haha just found this video. I'm hoping they bring in Sally Corp in to redesign the ride. Sally Corp can theme it to just about anything. http://www.sallycorp.com/Darkrides/custom.htm My bet is that they'll take out all the scooby stuff and keep the ghost theme. Hope they make it scarier! http://www.sallycorp.com/Darkrides/Ghost%20Blasters%20II.htm

Nick-U becomes Planet Snoopy in 2010?
I have always thought it would be cool if Kings Island got a ride themed to Goosebumps books. Anyone else have any thought on this?

so can we see another king cobra in our future becuase we are doomed to repeat our history? haha Actually King Cobra was a very popular ride, that was ranked among the best of the stand up coasters. In popular belief it was removed because the ride parts were deteriorating, and with TOGO out of business, parts were getting harder and harder to come by. it was a joke Sorry, but its useful to use one of these when making a joke. Some people think that King Cobra's loop was removed and installed on Son of Beast, and that Son of Beast's loop was removed to be added to Runaway Reptar! And welcome to KICentral!

It took a while for me to figure out what you guys were talking about. Are soft openings common? I'd think the media would be all over announcing the ride the day it opens, thus destroying the softness of the opening.

Yes, they are similar, but if you talk to many people who have ridden all three of them, they will say they liked King Cobra the best. Not all Stand- Up coasters are the same. King Cobra, Shockwave at Kings Dominion and Skyrider at Canada's Wonderland are very similar, but if you've been to Cedar Point, theirs is quite different.

Nick-U becomes Planet Snoopy in 2010?
Besides the fact that he is the mascot of Disney, yes he is long gone. Have any of you seen anything mickey mouse on the Disney Channel for the past five years?

Best Haunted Attraction Ever
It would be great if Kings Island got an all season haunted house, but I think parks abandoned them completely after the Six Flags Great Adventure Haunted House accident. Heres a documentary I found about the Six Flags Haunted House-

Best Haunted Attraction Ever
I've only been in a few, but my favorite is USS Nightmare. The best part is that the entire, 30 minute walk through is on a real boat. The costumes and effects are great, and there's even one part where you can look through the floor into the Ohio River and see bodies floating in the water. If anyone would like reviews of all the haunted houses in the area, this is a GREAT website- http://www.ohiovalleyhaunts.com/

If the rumors are true, next year we could be suiting up for Bonfire: The Ride.

Scooby Doo and the Haunted Castle
I saw Phantom Theater sort of as potty training for Fearfest. Well not literally!

Diamondback vs Intimidator 305
I think I'd like Diamondback better, since it has 10 drops, and this Intimidator will only have 7. You can't really tell till you ride both, though.

Scooby Doo and the Haunted Castle
Also, what about the fact that this is the Kids area? Would that be very fun for most of the kiddies?

Scooby Doo and the Haunted Castle
I had a great idea during Biology class in retheming Scooby Doo, but using the same people mover system. How about a new dark ride, The Phantom Household. Themed to touring a very colorful house, home to a comical family of ghost. Here are some ideas for the theming- 1. A curved hallway that makes you feel like you are leaning. 2. An upside down kitchen room with falling pots and a falling refrigerator. 3. Crazy, tilting mirrors. 4. Nursery room with floating toys. 5. Bathroom with a singing shower ghost. 6. Garden room with strange plants. 7. Art gallery, similar to the one that was in phantom theater. 8. Dining room with “talking” food. 9. Self- playing piano, with spinning music sheets. 10. Final room with falling ceiling panels, walls tilting back and forth, and fog, making it seem that the house is falling apart. Comments would be appreciated.

Bummed Out
its due to global warming As a matter of fact, global warming does cause rapid changes in enviornment that can vary for areas depending on where they are, for some it does actually involve heating up, for others, a cooler climate can be expected. For example, the United States had the coldest winter on record last year, yet this year places like Washington have recorded never before seen heat. Currently, we are in an El Nino pattern, which typically results in cooler, wetter summers for the eastern half of the country. That is also why there has been a shortage of named storms in the Atlantic until recently. Most of the sporadic warming and cooling is caused by the fundemental breakdown of basic weather patterns, such as the Jet Stream and North Atlantic Current, which is caused by the unnatural heating of the atmosphere and disposing of freshwater and oxygen from the planet's ice caps. Done. Hears! Hears! // Don't all of the rides close down while it it raining?

Graying out on coasters with high Gs
Is it really dangerous? A month ago I blacked out on Super Round Up, and was really freaked out. My mom told me it was nothing.
