  1. ^I havn't caught that yet on DB but I remember on Griffon they also had those nets under the final brake run all the way to the station. There were lots of lost items under the run I guess because people think it's ok to take out their personal items even when they aren't off the ride yet and they drop them.
  2. I wish I could head up and film it for a little while but all of my teachers just love throwing out tests and projects the week before spring break. I wonder when Don will get to ride?
  3. wow Great photos! I have always been interested in this park. I too enjoy the entrances to most six flags parks. I like how Six Flags New England, Great Adventure, America, and The Great Escape all have those themed entrance streets with the buildings. I have always thought Mind Bender looked like a surprisingly good coaster. Great PTR so far. Keep it coming!
  4. I noticed that the first time I saw it but I thought I was crazy. This thing looks so smooth!
  5. I was at the park today to get my uniform and as I was leaving I got to see it testing again. 39 Days 16 Hours 27 Minutes and 15 Seconds!
  6. Splashdown looks beautiful! The area is taking shape and fast. Couldn't be happier!
  7. ^That is such great news. That is awesome that everyone has raised so much money for A Kid Again. I wish I could bid just to raise some more money but work doesn't start until April. Wow that is just awesome. $50,000!
  8. ^I think that would look really nice. Fit the Rivertown feel pretty well. I like Griffon"s really bright blue water splash but I don't think it would look as good in Rivertown. The queue is starting to take shape too. IMO The line is one of the most important parts of the attraction and I love it when it can get you pumped up and in the mood to ride.
  9. Wow the pool is filled!?!?!?! Or is that a big no? I havn't been on all week because our school play opens tomorrow and have been at school since 9:30 everyday. Go tech crew! Does anyone mind telling me what I have missed in the past couple of days? I know they tested the red train from the pics on kiDiamondback and also the pool being filled possibly. Anything else?

^ Nice one. It's been a little while.
  11. ^Ohhhhhh yes the third time was indeed an amazing charm. Number one on my list up until April 18th that is!
  12. Oh and also, Apollo's Chariot and Raging Bull were B&M's first Hypers so there's a little bit of understanding there on my part. But hey, B&M is still amazing no matter what.
  13. ^You are not alone. I thought Apollo's Chariot was fun but not what everyone else said it was going to be. I don't remember it much but I remember getting off of it and not being disappointed but let down form what I heard about it. I have been on Nitro and Apollo's Chariot and I liked Nitro a lot better.
  14. I had some journey today. I went to KI to process my paperwork at about 10:45ish waited in an hour line to come up next and they tell me my parent didn't sign one of the forms. So I was like ok and took it home and got it signed and come back. The line was even longer but on my way in I was able to see the testing of Diamondback. I forget what the name of the road is but it goes right by the employee entrance and it goes down a really curvy hill but then it gets straight. Well that view is awesome because you see the first 2 hills lined up right infront of the other and I look up to see the train coasting down the first hill. It was an awesome sight. As I was walking through the parking lo I noticed that the train had stopped on the top of the lift hill which was the second time I saw this happen but I was really cold and went inside to the longer line. Well I bring up my paper that was now signed and learned that my hair is just barley too long so they can't give me a uniform or take my picture for my ID card. I checked the grooming standards online before I left but I guess it's up to them. Well at least I got to see testing!
  15. I had to call this morning and cancel my interview this morning because I had already been hired at KI. But congratulations on your new job! That does sound like it is going to be very fun dispatching for slides and stuff. Have fun!
  16. Let's see, probably Disneyland more than any other park.
  17. Oh wow. I hope I'm not working season pass processing opening day.
  18. Grr I was so excited so I got ready real quick and headed out there. I got there at about 2:15ish and stayed until 3:00 and there was no sign of testing. I had my video camera ready and all but it never tested while I was there. Oh well. It says weather permitting, maybe it's too windy?
  19. wow I missed a lot today. I just read through all of the posts and thanks for the videos everyone! I will be up at lazer tag right by the employee entrance, too bad there will be no testing. I love the way the train flies through the mcbr. I hope the ride runs somewhat similar to how it was running today. That roar sounds so amazing and just gets me so pumped up!
  20. New blog update for KI Insider. "Kings Island's Eiffel Tower a regal landmark"
  21. I just got my license yesterday so I am trying plan a day to go film testing. Do they test on the weekends?
  22. ^I saw it coming off the track but sadly no.
  23. ^They sound a lot better than the Intamin rattle.
  24. Yeah it being so close to the Midway will be a huge factor. Should be flippin sweet!
