New ride to set records on this year. Fresh start for everyone.

Just try to sit back in the seat as far as possible I guess. And maybe skip a tempting funnel cake or something on the way in. I know that will be my challenge.

Tehe (paramount) One of my worst rides on The Racer when I was little was when the lap bar was so tight it hurt every time the train even somewhat jolted. I couldn't stand it and I was almost ready to cry (being about 9 or 10 probably). I know what you mean. There is indeed a big gap between comfortable and staple. Superman Ride of Steel at SFNE. Especially with those old evil ankle guards and having a ride associate purposely push the restraint as far down as possible by using all of their weight and pretty much jumping on the lap bar when thrusting it into you. No need for me to go and complain to anyone, the guy infront of me went straight up to the ride op and started screaming. Safety and having an enjoyable ride go together but are 2 totally different things.

Yay! You get a cookie! I never really thought of that before. Now looking back at old pictures like on coastergallery.com you see pictures like this and it makes sense to do that.

I've heard MF plenty of time referred to as "Millennium Forceless". Can anyone explain this? I have never been on it before but have heard a lot of different perspectives on the ride.

Just curious. What part don't you like? Do you not like the brown background or the actual graphics?

Me When I ride Nitro the only intense part to me is the first hill. The rest of the floater airtime is actually pretty relaxing. Apollo's Chariot also dies down after the first drop. On Diamondback since there is the little ravine after the second drop it looks like the ride will keep its speed.

Great pictures. I love how much this stands out against the dark background. I love the tongue how it turns into the track.

Don't let Diamondback fool you. It looks like it will be very intense from watching test runs. Superman Ride of Steel at SFNE is a very great Intamin but it is pretty hard t compare to B&M models like Nitro.

That weather might turn some people away, but for it being opening day I bet a lot of people will still show up no matter what the weather looks like.

The orange looks very vibrant up close. It really stands out a lot more now.

The weather aspect of planning theme park trips is so frustrating. I used to take a birthday trip to SFNE every year and weather was the most annoying factor. I usually wait until about 2 days before to really start to see what the weather will be because it can change very easily.

The restraints are actually nothing like those of MF and TTD. They are called clam shells and allow a lot more freedom.

I also heard they are going to require 3 clicks unlike most roller coasters at the park are only 2 if I'm not mistaken. I heard there will be a new kind of test seat out front that will tell you if the restraint is down far enough so that will save some people from the walk of shame.

Oh, BGE is my second favorite park and it being dominated by B&M doesn't hurt either. I hope you have a great time at KD!

They have reasons for everything they do. It doesn't mean you have to know everything they do. Be patient, you will get to ride this amazing coaster soon enough.

I thought this was kinda cool. One of the few pictures I was able to take last year and this was during the Haunt.

That orange looks really pink from the webcam. And like Ashers said, you don't really know how faded it is until it gets a new paint job Well if we already know how bad Flight Deck looks, then we should be very surprised when it gets some new paint!
