Have you leveled-up in the Fun Perks Yet?
Are each of you level two or just one of you? Even though I have reached level 2, the rest of my family is only level 1.

Dining at Disney
Hey, you do know that right now they have had some promotions for free Dining plan included. We are starting to look at potentially booking a Disney vacation...trying to save up some money (did a price out with meals at a value resort family of 6 w/o transportation was about $3500 including the dining plan - keeping out an eye for when they offer free dining for spring/summer). So, I am also looking for some pointers (we will have 4 kids ages 9-2)

Cedar Point hotel recommendations
We stay at the Comfort Suites/Rain Waterpark. Rooms are a bit outdated, but the staff is friendly, and it has a bar in the hotel you can bring drinks back to your room from. It is also not direct entry, but hallway and secured with key cards from your room. You have to be a guest or with a guest (or employee) to get into the sleep areas.

Have you leveled-up in the Fun Perks Yet?
I am sure they are going to have some rewards for 4th of July. I am also sure that since it has been operating for about 1-2 months between soft and hard opening, that they are probably read to roll out tweeks. I just hope that those who already have rewards do not loose what we already have and not used.

My youngest has been riding beast since he was 5 or 6 years of age. He is also tall for his age, at about 56-58 inches just turned 9. That being said, he also weighs almost nothing, about 70 lbs He does not like The Beast.

Soak City Lifeguards
Under the program that they use to certify their lifeguards (ELLIS) you only have 30 seconds to spot and respond to an emergency. I used to go through this procedure as a lifeguard at Oceans of Fun years ago. They try to sneak the doll into the area (but IMHO) the guards really do see them coming in general unless they really are not paying attention. Generally they do a quick toss and run away, but they could have been dunking it if they saw a guard looking toward them or about to look their way to maybe catch them off guard.

Rivertown Buffet
I will say the place has some positives and negatives.. 1) The price was good, we were able to feed a family of 6 for just under $40 (two kids were no charge) due to their age. 2) Food quality was fairly good. Though they had a few items they were a little slow at getting up (Green Beans for one, but come to find out I was sadly disappointed with them after the wait). Most everything I tried was fairly good. 3) Negative - the service was somewhat lacking. My son spilled an entire soda, and it took them about 15-20 minutes to get a mop to clean up the floor, and about 10 minutes for them to even put out a wet floor sign so people wouldn't slip on it. Our server rarely checked on us, so we got most of our drink refills ourselves. Another huge negative is there were no kids cups in there, which is what caused my son to spill his drink (the cup was too big and heavy for him to lift or even reach without kneeling or standing up on his seat). We will go back and eat there again though.

Guests Wear the Darnest Things
A towel. yes, I saw a kid wearing a towel wrapped around her so she could ride Linus's beetle bugs on Sunday.

Cedar Point crowds?
We tend to do long weekends at Cedar Point. We have found in the past years that Sunday evenings, Mondays and Tuesday are not bad (no clue a about Wednesdays or Thursdays as we have not been there on one). Most people are leaving mid day Sunday to drive home and while you have new guests arriving for "vacation" it is no where near as many as that left. I think we have even had almost walk on rides on Gemini and Cedar Creek Mine Ride.

Have you leveled-up in the Fun Perks Yet?
I was personally waiting for the $9.99 friend pass. I have someone could use it, as he plans on bringing a group of people to the park, and he does a lot for others in his own way, so I decide I would use the discounted tickets to at least help him. So, he will be spending a lot of other money in the park as well....so as a level 1 reward, it is going to entice you to bring others...who then hear of all the perks...and then might purchase a pass of their own!!!

Plus Size Riders on Planet Snoopy Roller Coasters?

Have you leveled-up in the Fun Perks Yet?
Well, I think we have figured that around 4 visits and about $80-$100 spent in the park makes it to level 2. I have not seen anyone post anything about going from level 2 to 3 or level 3 to 4. But I have noticed that under "Special" Rewards, that they are trying to give you discounts so you will spend more money in the park each week. Three weeks ago it was 15% off Skyline and BOGO 50% hot dog meals in Soak City. Last week it was the same plus like 25% of Emporium purchase. This week the BOGO is still there and so is EMPORIUM, but I also have a Free Lucy Keychain with purchase in another store.

Dress Code at KI
Ok, I thought I had read in the park rules that you had to wear shirts, shorts, and shoes. That if you were in a swim suit, for a girl, you had to have a shirt on over your bikini top (or the top of your one piece)? And if you were a guy, you had to have a shirt as well? I have seen numerous tweens, teens, and adults (especially females) getting on and off rides just wearing bikini tops in the park.
