Yes they do play that. Every song they play there is techno and I'm almost positive most of them are not on the soundtrack for the movie. Next time I go, I'll try to write down some of the songs that I can recognize because they are awesome.

Well SOB and Drop Zone will be re-opening this year so you don't really have to worry about that. But I do agree with King Cobra (I'm pretty sure I've already said that several times in this thread). I thought the Eagles was a pretty good ride but I can't understand why you would travel more than eight hours for a ride that you could ride at a park like Stricker's Grove in Ross, OH.

Well hopefully those screams will be heard on July 3rd when I will be attending KI next.

Neither do I, I love hearing classic rock throughout the park but I don't think that'd be appropriate or feel right to have that kind of music playing while you're walking into the park. (O, and when I heard entrance I was thinking of the area right outside the security checkpoint.)

Personally, I think KI should get someone to write a new score for the entrance music to the park. However with CF's debt, I'm sure this is not high on their list of things to do.

That's very interesting. I wonder if CF would ever think about doing that with TRTR or if they're working on getting the sound for the ride now fixed. If anyone has the map, could you scan it and post the picture of the ride and the text?

I'll support this rumor just because I like the idea of a coaster going around the lake. I think it would be awesome weather or not it's western themed even though it might be either western or like back woods type wilderness themed since that's Rivertown there and they already have the wooden buildings. I also would rather the coaster not really go over the trees by that much but more be concealed by and weave through the trees.

I will be there on the 3rd and maybe the 5th. Should they be crowed?

He's talking about the one at carowinds idiot!!!! What? Top Gun at KI is a suspended coaster. Top Gun at Carowinds is an inverted coaster.

Personally I love how suspended coasters feel but I wish Top Gun was longer. And good coasters don't need to have inversions to be fun. That doesn't mean I don't think that KI needs a B&M inverter because I would very much enjoy that.

All the turns are banked (except the one right out of the station), we're talking about more banking to be able to add more speed (take out brakes).

The Interpreter is right. What I found most shocking on that list is how California Screamin' is on it. I'm not saying it's a bad coaster, it is nice and smooth. The ranking it has is it "boasts the 4th longest roller coaster track in the U.S. " O wow, that is extreme! haha (by the way, it's only 4 because they didn't count SOB again). It is the now (since SOB is loop-less) the longest looping roller coaster in the world but I wouldn't call that extreme, I'd call it obscure.

Do you know what, tigellinus? I totally agree with you. I mean when you think KI you think of The Beast (1979) but when people think of CP they think of Magnum XL-200 (1989), MF(2000), TTD(2003), and maybe now Maverick (2007).

You forgot to mention how Waterworks is now Boomerang Bay with new attractions like Tasmanian Typhoon and Coolangatta Racer to name a few.

Alright. I was planning on going to Beast Bash this year and hopefully I'll be seeing some of you there.

Since I'd rather not make a new thread about it since it kind deals with the idea of theme park events, has there ever been a KI Central get together type meeting at KI? Because I know other sites do stuff like that and I wasn't sure if people did that here.
