I've always loved taking the monorail through the resort whenever we went to the Magic Kingdom. I haven't been since 2004 and I really want to go back!

It's funny how we were complaining of CF using the same names for all their rides and now were begging to have the same name of Carowinds' ride! Oh well, it is an awesome name.

OMG...they actually DID change it to Drop Tower! That's the last time I take a week away from this site, I totally missed that news! Now the "Enclosed: The Coaster", and "Water" Falls post from Thrill Biscuit makes sense to me. I just noticed that too! What a terrible name! Worse than Flight Deck, IMO. Thats equivalent to naming a roller coaster, "Roller Coaster." (Yes, I am aware there are rides with that name.)

I don't know how relevant this is, I'm not a physics major, but..... If you have ever ridden an enterprise like Witches' Wheel, there are no restraints at all, just a little metal door.

By your opinion it is, which is a minority. Top Gun is still a popular ride for a short line, and although it is short, it still packs a punch.

I love the idea! The Back to the Future trilogy are some of my very favorite movies! Too bad the Universal rides have closed, though. I might have ridden them, but I don't remember if I did. The last time I went to Universal Studios was like 10 years ago. But I agree, as cool as it sounds it probably couldn't work with FoF or X-base. But how about enclosing and re-theming IJ:ST?

Wood coasters that exert an excessive amount of force need to have trims so that the coasters do not destroy themselves as well as cost the park excessive maintenance costs. Enthusiasts hate trims, as do you. But enthusiasts also comprise about 1% of a park's attendence. So parks take the lesser of two evils. Trim the coasters that need it, at the expense of those 1% being upset. That is EXACTLY the point. Racer DOES NOT need trims. Where did he say that Racer does not need trims?

I think they should put strobe lights in the launch tunnel where the ORP used to be. I've always liked how the camera strobe coupled with the roar of the launching train gave the effect of lightning and heightened anticipation as guests waited in line.

So are there any coasters you have not ridden?
